Thought id put a thread up for my new car seeing as ive been on the forum a little while now, used to have a 1.4 8v vw polo 6n but it was poop. A combination of buying a lemon and bad luck ended up with it looking like an absolute dog.

So basically I started shopping around for what I could afford and I've always liked these so I decided id buy one! the best part is when i got the insurance quote through it was £300 cheaper a year than my polo! So that made my mind up for me and i put a deposit on a 2000 Lexus IS200.

'04 Lexus SC430 Oxygen sensor replacement

My Check Engine/vsc Lights Are On, Placed On Computer To Test, & It Says "Heated Oxygen Sensor"...
However, there are three (3) Oxygen sensors & the computer won't say which one?!?!? Any suggestions, other than having to pay a shop to check all three? My concern is also whether this is the true malfunction (with VSC light on) or possibly another part, since light comes on for multiple issues...

I have posted this everywhere else so might as well put it on here as well. Not a Jap but I'm really pleased with this so thought I'd share

This detail has been planned for quite a while now, since the middle of last year and I've finally got around to doing it. I had to spread it out over 4-5 days and probably 40 odd hours as it was very bad!

I spent a whole day just cleaning the muck off it, washing it and claying. It was looking so much better already but still had a long way to go to restore it's former shine, it just didn't look right in pink! :lol:

This has been my hardest detail yet and I found working on single stage paint a lot trickier than clearcoat. I wasn't aiming for total swirl removal but just to get it back to red, although I think I did manage to remove a lot of the heavier swirling.

This was also my first time with a rotary and wool but I found it very easy, in fact it was easier than when I had my DA and without the vibration.

I also sanded the wiper arms and sprayed them hammerite smooth as the paint was flaking a lot.

Red Corolla T-Sport Stolen GY55 LVD

Hi all,

The pikeys have hit us again and now they have taken my dads red Corolla T-Sport. It was stolen from the Bromley London area last night (21st/22nd May) and she was towed away.

Look for the plate GY55 LVD

Distinguishing features are a carbon wrapped bonnet, VERY loud back box made of carbon and callipers painted red and black.

Please post this anywhere you can and help us get out car back.





I will point out that I think we've been targeted, so today every car we have has been fitted with a tracker and immobiliser, these cretins obviously don't get what it is to be human - instead they live on thieving and an ill-earned sense of entitlement.

Please tell anyone you can on other forums ASAP!!!!
