Hi Outlaws!

You may not know that I am the Head promo girl for OJC, not much has happended recently (due to me going to leave! but Raby convinced me to stick around)

SOOOO We are not at Ace Cafe today however we will be at the japshow in June at Pod!

Anyways I need your help!!!!

what a week.......

Just a random post to say what a week its been......

Mondays are mondays, always busy and fight to catch up with the desruction from the weekend and this was no different to ever other monday.

Then comes Tuesday and one of the guys from the workshop gets sacked. Only 3 of us in the workshop doing the work of about 5 people, now down to just 2.

Mid week and work is still snowballing up but we are just coping, just.

Then comes thursday, guy i work with gets promoted out of the workshop to 'Technical Manager'. We both had the option of going for it but a wanted to stay in the workshop so didnt apply. Really happy for the other guy though as he will make an awesome boss. my current boss is moving to Australia. However this means he will mainly be out of the workshop and in the office. They then ask to speak to me and i get promoted to 'Workshop Supervisor'. Shocked to say the least. At this point in time its only me in the workshop, so im just supervising myself lol. However we will be taking on another 2 technicians that will work with me.

Friday, work still continuing to snowball but the futures now looking brighter. Although i get the felling im going to be busy for a long time now. looking forward to the day when it will ease up slightly.

Quite glad its a 3 day weekend now so i have time to sit back and reflect on a manic week. Next week will be a little more relaxed, well for me anyway. Flying out to Barcalona on wednesday to watch the spanish F1. Will be epic, Sarah cant wait either.

Anyway enough randomness from me lol

The metal parcel shelf in the back of my is200?

I think it's stifling the creativity of my sub!

Am considering putting a couple of vents in between the speakers already there, would that make any difference?

No matter how I set the eq I get either loud muddy bass or quiet crisp bass, but nowhere clean clean and loud at the same time.

I reckon it's because of the metal coffin it's stuck in when it was used to a nice big coupe boot with a thin Non metal shelf above it.

Previous owner fitted a doubledin unit into my car, so (I assume) it's got the amp bypass on it. I think the box has a small amplifier inside it, though I have no idea how good it is.

I would like to upgrade the rear 6x9's to something a bit better, I've got a spare 2 channel amp sat in the garage but I have no idea if it works.

What do I need and which model of alpine 6x9 do I need, bearing in mind these will be instead of a sub as well?

Just joined the site, heard that a few of my fellow CCUK members are over here enjoying the banter and didn't want to miss out!!

Have an early Toyota Corolla T Sport with a few mods, will post up a seperate build thread with a few piccies when i've had the chance to take some decent ones.

just bought this got it on monday and once my bank balance recovers i will be making some changes

first to come will be
Decat full exhaust system
Tein coilovers
refurb and paint wheels or replace not sure yet
windows tinted
some uprated ARBs and strut braces

longer term i will be looking to go the forced induction route and totally re-doing the interior i will keep this thread updated as mods come

as she stands now totally standard still loads of fun though
