Right,
For the most part I trust you guys judgement and I'm in need of a little inspiration
I'm getting a pair of bride brix recliners reupholstered after the MOT/insurance renews at the end of March (if there are no nasty surprises).
I've chosen Edge Automotive, who have a section on this forum. I want to keep the car fairly Lexus looking, while having some more supportive front seats.
Initial thoughts are something like this:
http://www.edgeautomotive.co.uk/?portfol...ior-retirm
Only with very dark charcoal stitching, as I don't want it to stand out from the black too much. The seats will be black half leather half alcantara.
Anyone got any other ideas before I shell out £750?
Also, if anyone else has some bride brix recliners they want reupholstering it should bring the price down a bit, so get in touch!
Ideas on a postcard

Does anyone have an altezza font in TFF format. The same altezza font as the rear altezza badge for the back of the car?
I said I'd ask for a mate, i'm pretty sure i know what he's talking about, but it'll make sense to somebody!
Anyone?

With a book full of receipts, a Fully forged 2.2 litre strokered engine and lots of other goodies it definitely had the poke.
I had the car re mapped, 50mm over fenders fitted, new AEM air/fuel guage fitted, R888's on the rear and a lot of paintwork and it finished like this

Unfortunately the running costs plus a drop in salary meant I had to sell it :-( after that got an R33, then an R32 and a few boring non jap cars and now I have the lexus which I love and will love even more once it has a v8 in it lol
Forgot to say that the 200 hit over 400Hp at 1.6 bar with torque to match and was epicly fast, had several jaunts with Porsches, Astons and an R6 and all of them got caught out lol (the bike wasn't off the line lol)
Basically I'd like to start doing video filming and editing seeing as I already do the photo side of things. But video cameras aren't a technology I've been keeping track of really, so does anyone have any advice on what to look for?
High resolution is a must, I guess 1080p is pretty standard now?
Capability to shoot high frame rate at full 1080p, so maybe 120fps as that give nice smooth slo-mo footage?
Not really sure what else to look for?

small oil catch tank / can better than cusco BMW Mercedes SEAT VW Skoda (#150743961269)
So I'm looking around on eBay for a catch can for the Merc as I've just cleaned all the intake and don't want it gunking up again.
Wade through the usual chinese cans, past the overpriced Cusco ones and eventually end up looking at these:

Tiny little catch can that looks pretty classy I think, so I buy two.
Then it occurs to me to check the sellers feedback ...of which he only has 1....

Just a general questions to the community.
Many of us searching for high-end adjustable suspension are face with many choices.
As it will be a huge investments for most of us, we all want to make sure that we are making the right decision.
But ultimately, it comes down to prices and what we can afford.
We would all love to ride on a set of Ohlins DFV, but at £2500 a set it is just a bit outside of the budget for many of us.
So the questions here is what "High End" suspension do you think you can afford?
How much is it? And why would you choose that over anything else in the same price bracket?
As the keyword here is 'affordable', lets try to keep the RRP of the coilovers below £1500.

It's my birthday, I have never worked on my birthday so as I had the day off I thought I'd take Suki for her MOT as it's due in a few weeks. It's been snowing so people clearing their drives dumped snow round her as she wasn't going to move in it, so I had to dig her out.. checked her tyres, washed n polished her.. arrived at my mechanics who gave her a quick look over and said all looked fine. They popped her up to the MOT place and left her with them.
While later they went back to pick her up ... the good news is she sailed through the 8th MOT i've taken her for, gotta love 1993 supras .. but the ******** had done this to her!! Two of the morons driving off ramps at the same time and one had reversed right into my front wing! If you have heard my Suki, you will know you cannot possibly not know she is there !!
