The phrase ‘apple of one’s eye’ is used as long ago as the bible and said to originate from the thought that the pupil in the eye is a round solid apple shape and to lose one’s ‘apple’ and be blind is to lose something very precious indeed!

Good Evening All,
Unfortunately with Christmas, New Year and Work I haven't being on here as much as I'd like to have recently.
Anyway it is 2012! I hope everyone had a cracking christmas, and an awesome New Year - I am still in the process of recovering :kiltsmilie: -
Anyway, I have being asking around over on the Banzai Site just for members opinions on the "site" itself and how we could improve etc etc. I am hoping to arrange a few more meets this year, and possibly a couple of events ran by Banzai (depending on time) so any thoughts or ideas going forward would be appreciated.
With our meet last year held in Essex I would ideally like to hold on up North this year primarily because Essex was a trek from Birmingham haha!
Anywho in the meantime I have posted up some links to Banzai Merchandise, feel free to have a look and purchase
As always, any questions PM me
Cheers
Dan
Hi Guys, I noticed a member below asking about Banzai Stickers and thought I'd just throw this thread up with a link for the stickers and also latest to the range Banzai Magazine Binders - I currently have 4 of these, work a treat!
Stickers - Banzai are currently only doing them in the single "White" colour, but are looking to possibly expand
Binders - In "Blue" with the magazine name across the front, ill be honest they were a bit fiddly to use, but at least they keep my magazines in order, and a bit tidier too!
With regards to clothing, they are in the process of arranging some T-Shirts and hoodies etc. but still a work in progress!
Any questions please do not hesitate to message me on here or over on Banzai,
Cheers
Dan

love the car, love the fact it can go sideways with ease (but wont do it as its not ours) but hate the running costs, its worse then the ****** legnums!![[Image: 166969_10150455762404749_659034748_83588...8692_n.jpg]](http://i37.photobucket.com/albums/e63/mad_mazz/Mercs/C250%20TD/166969_10150455762404749_659034748_8358843_1218768692_n.jpg)
and here i find myself, japless, well sort of......
its a 1999 auto/tip merc C250 Esprit TD estate.
dose about 30mpg round town, makes a nice differance to the 10mpg im used to! lol
we only have one piccy of the beast....
and only a hand full of hours driving with it as well, we got the car early Dec 11..... and its spent the rest of its sodding time at the ****** garage boggling both mine and Robs brains as well as the garages as to why the fecking thing wont start!!!
So far we have looked into the fact that maybe it had no fuel.... petrol instead of diesel, air leak, air lock, blocked filters, knackered fuel pump, lifter pump and now to toss in the mix, maybe its the solionide that controlls the pump in the bay and its stuck closed! GAH!:yuck:
lucky for us its a wonderfull timing chain engine.... and the pump and gubbins just so happen to sit behind the chain, under all the plastic covering and what not.... only a 4 hour job to get to it....
it might get fixed oneday this year.... once it is i might change my mind about the damned thing and start to enjoy it.
it is or was meant to be our work horse, but for the time being we are back in the seat of my dads wonderful AMG merc
love the car, love the fact it can go sideways with ease (but wont do it as its not ours) but hate the running costs, its worse then the ****** legnums!

Anyone know how big the z33 6 speed is? Considering it as an alternative to the R154 but not sure if it will fit in the IS200 transmission tunnel.
Guys can anyone link me to the EXACT tape I need to attach spoilers / light covers etc to the car?
I know, or I think, it's the red 3m tape, but I have no idea which or where to get it.
Any help will be appreciated.
Lee
Ok so i need to get some work done on the YELLOW car

No the thread title is not a typo...
I'm taking the chance to get in ahead of the bells and the usual meltdown, and would like to wish you all a happy new year!
Have a good one!
