My 'Not a Lexus' stickers.

Look at this, someone has nicked the sticker design I drew up for the back of my car!!!
I've given a few away. I'm not bothered about making money on them myself, but other people making money off of them is a bit cheeky.

I have a nice shiny stainless steel slam panel but with hole for coolant expansion bottle, and as i had sitting around from my 1st Supra a slam panel with NO expansion bottle hole i thought i may as well use it, but had to relocate the expansion bottle first.

I found a two stroke oil mixing bottle was the perfect size for this and with just over 1 litre capacity its easily big enough to take the 0.5 litre of expanded coolant when hot.



Then i bought me a very nice self sealing hose connector for the inlet/outlet (but at £25.44 delivered it wasnt bl00dy cheap) and fitted this to the bottom of the bottle as opposed to the side so i get to use more of the bottle capacity



Made up an overflow for the top



And hey presto its done and the slam panel is fitted

Heya, right so basicly ive seen the stand at a fair few jap events and ive always seen the high quility of the cars on display. After japshow finale yesterday at santapod i finaly desided to do something about it, i got one of the cards off "boosst" mr2. Didnt realise they was invite cards untill after i toke it, so sorry if i wasnt meant to take one lol. Anyway im here now, i currently own a 99 civic which ive only owned a short time, its my 13th honda and my 21st car, ps im only 23 lol. Hope to meet alot of u in the near future and ill be buying the year membership pack soon.:thumbup1:

'Popping' when turning - especially when going over bumps

I get this mostly when turning on to my driveway which is up a slope. There is a kind of popping noise that seems to be coming from the front suspension and is fed through the steering wheel.

A quick search seems to suggest drop links or ball joints. Which one should I start with?

Also I'm not sure if its related, but when I get out of the car I get a slight creaking noise. I've always put this down to a slight movement of the wheels when the handbrake is on though.

I have an idea but would it work

Hi all,

As you know the club/forum is growing stronger every day with new members, and its come to my attention that with the number of members we have on OJC would it be possiable to make in a section or a new section a map of where all owners are in the uk/world.

I see a lot of members including me wanting to meet people close to me or even to hold mini meets with a few people.

I'm not talking to there house but city/town they live in.

Would it be something that could be made

Hi All
was recommened to register on here as im a lexus is200 owner and was told this is the place to be, also went to Jap show finale today and had a look around your stand, some great cars was very impressed, i came in top five in show and shine so was well happy :thumbup:
im Steve from notts, im 29 and im on my second Lexus is200, ive owned quite a few jap cars over the years and love them, done a few mods on my lex
