Hey all, another Lexus IS200 driver to add to your ranks. I'm currently driving the car pictured below. Apart from painted calipers and a badge on the front grille nothing else has been done to the car. I have plans for this car and will begin to stockpile the parts and get them fitted in due coarse.

Had this annoying wobble on the wheel at 60-70 for some time now, tried balancing the wheels, rotating them, tracking and all the other things, until I saw my spigots!!!
Been on the car since I got the new wheels, ****** things were knackered, pushed right into the wheel or actually split and twisted.
Ordered new ones and woo hoo, wobble gone.
Old one, twisted and split

Old ones on the left, should be able to see the difference from the pic, new ones have a much more pronounced lip to them

We are thinking of going down the underfloor heating option for our new house .
So just a few questions for anyone in the know.
Can it be run off coal / multi fuel / oil central heating .
And is it any good ?
Its just because if most of the inside of the house is getting ripped up / changed this is the time to decide one way or another , so any help would be appreciated .
Cheers Moley
cared:Garage has fallen behind and it is going to be very, very close getting the car finished for JAE:crying:
My worry is I am having the 19" alloys, wide arches etc etc fitted and obviously this is not something MR2s were ever designed for.. so even if the car gets finished, it may be my first proper drive will be the trip up to JAE and that would be one hell of a bad time to discover any issues.. ! Especially since I wont have had the time to get a full Geo done too..
So, do I leave it at home and just travel up and enjoy JAE without the car or take a chance and hope its all good for the drive...

Stoney This other bolt though is shaping up to be the death of me!!! :cursing::cursing::cursing::cursing::cursing:
I bought some mole grip locking pliers, but they just can't grip it. I get them on as tight as humanly possible, and still it slips when turning, started to flatter the teeth of the pliers even. This bolt is so darn tight that it isn't even funny! The bit that is stuck in there is the ball end of a 'wobbly' 6mm allen key, and I cannot get it out. When I drill it, it moves about, when I jammed it at an angle with the drill and pressed as hard as I could, my drill (fairly powerful, mains powered) and high speed metal bits cannot get a grip in it or even start to get into it, whatever it is made of, it is strong!
All I can think now is to angle grind off the entire bolt head (if I can buy/beg/borrow/steal an angle grinder!) and I think the threads will still need drilling out too in order the get the bar off the cradle, and without that, I cannot get the cradle off the manifold! I even tried to take the manifold off with it to take to a workshop somewhere or even Jae! But I can't get all the manifold bolts out either.
This is really starting to stress me out now, as it may prevent my charger install at JAE completely.
I'm not sure there is much anyone can do! Unless you wanna pop down to Exeter with an angle grinder? But any advise/ideas are appreciated.
I have posted this in my supercharger thread, but I know not everyone checks that section and this problem, although relating to my charger, is really a general car related problem with a stuck bolt.

Since upping my boost from 9 - 13psi, my BOV has started fluttering a lot more.
It only seems to be in situations where there's low load, but high RPM. Like if I'm making the car scream along in 2nd at 40mph, or if I'm revving it in neutral.
This is what its like at 2k RPM in neutral:

Do I need to adjust it? It goes so crazy I can feel it through the accelerator pedal like someone is tapping it with a hammer lol.
