Here's what I can do with my laptop...
by sprinter2012, 03-07-2019, 09:46 PM
As I said in my photography thread, this one is all things I've made purely with my laptop, no cameras involved. Just google images/various online digital media sites and the help of Adobe Photoshop CS4.

This first one is by far the most complicated one I've attempted, and as you can see is still unfinished, but it's getting there slowly...

Well I didn't realise the OJC seems to have an underground photographic community, so I thought I'd stick up some of my camera work for you all to have a gander at Smile I've also made another thread the same as this, but with digital creations I've made in Photoshop CS4 :thumbup1:

Feel free to ask how I did things or let me know how I could have done them better.

marmite car
by nickie-b, 02-07-2019, 09:15 PM
My car started life as a standard prelude BB1, however being the kind of person that I am, I love making my car stand out. I used to love the car scene a few years back when people enjoyed being adventurous and flamboyant with their cars. So regardless what others from the jap scene have said, I have made a marmite car, so just thought I would post up some pics now I am getting closer to finishing the outside.

Now I am possibly gonna get slaughtered now because it is highly possibly not to anyone's taste but a select few, but try to keep it clean lol

Speedfreek's IS200 Project
by speedfreek, 02-07-2019, 05:00 PM
So after owning a selection of Skylines, Eunos Roadsters and other assorted Jap cars, I decided it was about time to satisfy a long standing hankering for an IS200.

Before I get to the start of my build thread, I will show you a bit of history of the cars I have had, a few of my favourites so you can see where I am going with this car perhaps.

First up is my baby that I lost blood, sweat and tears over - should NEVER have sold it on Sad

Then came my first and favourite Skyline - another car I shouldn't have sold Sad

Finally, though there were lots more, my first Lexus - though I can't take credit for building this beauty!

Aside from the Lexus above, I prefer to mod my cars as simply as possible - less is more in my opinion - and that's the view I want to keep with the IS.

I bought her like this - completely standard. She is an SE navigator - albeit without the SE front bumper (due to a shunt with the previous owner!)

The stereo was shagged in the car, so I got myself a nice Sony media player (USB / bluetooth / Iphone / Ipod control) and brodit iphone holder. Along with a set of infinity front and rear speakers and a self made OEM sat nav fix - it looked like this...

This is when I REALLY caught the bug again. I ordered myself a LOVELY set of Work Emotion CR Kai's for the car - but alas the ofset was wrong and they didn't fit! So a set of replica, but no less lovely, Rota Torques were ordered in Bronze - with a set of anodized blue valve stems (blue nuts on order Smile ) And also I ordered a black sport grille and got some chargespeed brake ducts from a fellow outlaw... this is how she stands as of today.

Watch this space... there will be LOTS more to come I'm sure!!
