who watched the meteorite shower last night, it was amazing, fair few massive ones that lit up the sky didnt get any pictures tho. must of counted about 20-30 shooting stars, it should happen more often

Which wheels do i refurb?

Ok guys help me out here. Im in a bit of a dilemma. Currently the car is sitting on IS200 17" 5 spokes. I also have a set of Kahn RS-R wheels sitting in the garage. Im going to refurb a set to go on the car before JAE, but i cant make my mind up which wheels to refurb.

The kahn's will be easier as they are not curbed, just paint flake, so a quick sand down and paint up.

The IS200 rims have a few scrapes and are quite corroded, so will require a bit more work.

The color is going to be volvo dark metallic grey. Help me decide which ones i should do

Want to get my patio clean but there's some kind of weird black c**p on it that just will not come up - are there any chemicals you can use to loosen it off?

Trying to hold off hiring someone out of the yellow pages with an industrial washer as those things are so powerful they'll blow all the pointing apart........

Was reading about the facelifted Merc CL500 coming next year and the stats are incredible: it has a twin turbo 4.6ltr V8 with 429bhp and 516ft/lbs of torque propelling it to 60 in 4.7s, while returning 29.7mpg combined and only 224g/km CO2 dropping it out of the top road tax band.

How on earth is that possible when even the hybrids can't get near that? Gotta give respect to some class engineering there....... :thumbup1:

Selling a car on finance?

not sure my car is worth exactly that, but taking a punt on it

If someone does buy it, do i just get them to ring lexus finance and make the payment, then hand over the V5 as in any other car sale, forwarding a copy of the finance completion letter on after ive received it?

Remap V Insurance

How easy is it for an insurance company to trace/notice a remapped car if everything else was stock? and what would cause them to check?

tried asking similar question on another forum but it turned into a witch hunt that i wasnt going to declare it, and im causing peoples premiums to go up etc etc.

from that i derive they cannot hold a debate within a forum arena so thought id ask you guys lol
