Hey everyone thought I would share my car with everyone else see what people think
Ok here is the progress so far, I got the car in late 06 and said that I would not touch it I liked it just the way it was I mean it was the IS200 Sport in Scarlatti red with the Lexus styling kit standard Lexus alloys premium sound system etc.
Alas this didn’t last long 1st thing I had to change the radio so after much hunting around I chose the Kenwood DDX-6029 and got to fitting as some of you might know the sport comes with its own amp and runs a digital system in the car so no left and right feed to the amp but digital signals very annoying

So after much playing about I made a bypass lead (there wasn’t one on the market when I got the car but there is now )
However I missed the bass that I had in my old car so out came the standard speakers and Infinity's went in along with an Alpine V12 and Lanzer Vibe Amp

As you can guess it didn’t stop there, I found my self addicted to putting bits on, so the fun and games started
Mirror closing module was created and fitted

Then Hands free Kit ck3200

Then LED Foot well lights Varad RGB

How difficult would it be to mount another set of speakers in the rear doors???
I have a spare set of door cards, so can use the grill off the front.
Any thoughts? Or just hard work? LOL!

Had a chat with a customer this morning, he works for a glass fibre moulding company. All they make is ponds, those large things garden centres have hanging around forever....
Anyway they have gone from 10 people to 4 people (including 2 managers) this last 12 months, because the pond industry has died - blame the recession. Thing is they have all the equipment and knowledge, even the time now to do GRP moulds of almost anything you could want, including car parts etc..........
The owner who is semi retired simply turns away anything that isn't "pond" related all because one company several years age messed him about with after-market bonnets and boot lids.
This seams ludicrous to me, he has all the skills, facilities, materials etc to make GRP parts for cars and simply turn his back on the whole industry:Chair:
Anyone fancy buying a business with untapped potential?
Hi all,
I trying to find out the flow rates for my CA18DE/T and/or SR20DE/T oil pump as i'm building a dry sump system, i have found 2 stage pumps that are suitable but need to know what volume the original pump can shift for a given time and revs, can anybody help?
If i can get a suitable pump for this would anybody else be interested in a system? I'm not talking silly money either! I would probably only sell a complete kit suitable for CA/SR engine and a kit of parts for other engines or even just the pump for those that have or can get hold of the parts needed.
The biggest cost of a dry sump system is the pump so if this works out it could save us all a lot of money and banish nissans big end probs to the history books!
cheers everybody, Scott
Anyone know of a good Insurance Company for Track Day Insurance?
