Hello all together, dimis insisted that I imagine my car here.

Please do not be so strict with me when I write something wrong, in which most of the written helps me the google translator.

I drive an IS200 sport bj99 blue, with nearly 100tkm.

I just let pictures speak, which makes things easier for me.

first, the exhaust pipe.

I was blocked coming out of a private road a short while ago as there was a police car at the end of it that had pulled over a range rover. My first thought was that the poor guy must have been pulled over for doing 35 in a 30 or something and felt sorry for him.

But then they pulled the RR out of the way to let me out, and noticed it wasn't just one police car, there were two plus a police van Confusedhock:

Now that's a bit of overkill for a speeding offence, so started doing the sums in my head.........brand new range rover + ton of cops = drug dealer! :w00t:

I hate that that was instantly where my mind went, but what do you all think - what would you think was going on with that scenario?

wiring a rear-view camera
by momo88, 06-01-2018, 10:17 PM
Just a quick question guys, im looking at wiring my rear view camera in tomorrow now that i have my headrest monitors done thanks to a few people.

I have tested it to make sure it works, it does, good start lol! The way i want it to work is, have it constantly on, so if im driving along(forwards) i can select the video input screen that shows what is seen from the camera.
My dvd player has an option to switch to it whenever i select reverse. Now i want to use this function but my basic understanding tells me that for that to happen i would have to slice into the power to the reverse bulbs. But this would conflict with me wanting the camera to b constantly 'on'.

Any ideas or opinions?!

Dyson - ball or no ball?
by parthiban, 06-01-2018, 02:04 PM
Looking at getting a Dyson upright as a second vacuum cleaner, does anyone have a ball one and is it worth it over the normal one? We already have one really flexible vacuum cleaner (in fact the one the ball was based on) so I'm wondering whether the fixed wheel system might be really uncomfortable, but then reviews state the ball isn't really as versatile as Dyson claim it to be.

Then on top the fixed wheel version is more powerful and there was some other difference that I've forgotten now, but overall that is the better machine - it doesn't have the ball, but makes up for it with the above features as well as being a fair amount cheaper.

So which one to go for?

Ok, I know car insurance prices have risen...
by kam05, 06-01-2018, 01:02 PM
over the past year, but I have just been quoted £34k (£34000 not £3400) by an insurance company through moneysupermarket.com!!!

I drive a 9 year old/132k IS200 (standard) which is probably worth about 2.5k! Glad I don't drive a highly modified car!

I have 7 years NCB (protected), 1 claim (windscreen), 0 convictions/points, and I live in a medium risk area.

Luckily, I have found another insurer who will cover me for £405 for the year.
