Grip?
by Andy-R., 08-10-2017, 02:49 PM
Just wondering if it's better to have more grip at the front for steering or the rear as that's where the power goes (not that there's much in an IS:FishSmile I always thought the front was better but as my front tyres are better than my rear I was wondering if it's worth swapping them over.

Cheers.

Yet ANOTHER HID question
by iLLzLex, 08-10-2017, 09:03 AM
OK guys im seriously starting to think we should write up a HID FAQ lol..
but... my question is this - i want to get a HID kit for my main beam, and i was wondering when i will flash someone eg to show them im letting them pull out or whatever i think it wont work because my dipped beam hid bulbs take about 5 seconds to warm up to full brightness...so if i installed HIDs into main beam and jus flicked the lever a few times i think the person would just see some very dim flickering light...it looks really good on cars with OEM hid kits like fiesta st's and mazeratis- i been flashed by them and it looks like a camera flash just an extremely bright light in 2 quick successions...is this achievable with an aftermarket kit? or will i only be able to use them say when im driving down an empty country lane and there is no-one there i turn them on, wait for them to heat up etc...

Cambelt Changed!
by icemahn, 07-10-2017, 06:29 PM
Got my cambelt changed today at 96,000 miles. The mechanic said there were loads of fluffy flint like fibers at the bottom around the pulleys and my belt was about 20% thinner. Was it rubbing unto something or is that normal?

HTC for sale.
by Phil01, 07-10-2017, 03:07 PM
Here, I am selling an HTC Touch Diamond, I am selling as I have an iPhone 3G, and i do not use this phone anymore. It is in very good condition.
It comes with TomTom Navigation app on there, which is worth about 70-80 pounds, I am not sure if it is Western Europe, but at the very least it has U.K&Ireland, which would help you get around if need be. It has a built in GPS reciever so you have GPS Wherever you go. So you can get a GPS signal within about 10-15 seconds of opening up TomTom.
This phone comes with a 4GB Internal memory, for songs, phots, videos etc.
Bought for 220, so will take about 180+!!!!
If you look on google at new prices, they are on average 250-300 pounds. Look at this HTC Touch Diamond 2 Sim Free / Unlocked Mobile Phone
£339.99 new - Play.com
So i would take 180 o.n.o
Cheers guys
