Car service
by Lexusboy, 21-09-2017, 03:38 PM
Just dropped off the car for it service tomorrow they have lent me a little AYGO

I only have a small service with auto gear box oil being changed and air con is going to be recharged.

I almost feel its a waste of money as the car running prefect.

But it keeps the service history up to date.

How do you feel about having your car serviced when it does not really need it?

Registering Private Reg Plates
by Stoney, 21-09-2017, 02:14 PM
Hi there,

Wandered if anybody on here was knowledgeable about private plates and such. My perfect plate is about to come up for sale, however, it is of a **10 *** format.

Does this mean I can only register it onto a car registered in 2010 onward? I think it does, and I am not very happy about it!

Does anyone know of any possible way around this? Would it be possible in any way to register a 2010 plate onto an older (say 02-03) car? Maybe be telling the DVLA it was exported, scrapped or cat C, and then re-register it? I have had cars before that for one reason or another have a year on the V5 that is blatantly not the original year of manufacture.

Anyone?

Need advice on car insurance
by Saraj, 21-09-2017, 09:57 AM
Hi everyone,

Right got a my renewal today from Direct Line, well you can call it a renewal as Direct Line have felt the need to not continue with insuring me in the future.

So Ive been refused, which is not ideal

Would I be able to buy another brand new policy on there website? I can quote and very decent ones compared to everybody else.

Or would it be refused once its been processed?

Im going to contact SKy and AF to check quotes.

Forza 3 - who's got it :D ?
by Dan_Turism0, 21-09-2017, 08:06 AM
Hi all,

Picked up my copy on Friday and it has to be said it's pretty awesome, although found a few things that are a bit of a let down such as not being able to change the exahust tip and the Nissan GTR is only in the game as a race car and not the road version (unless it's a unlock/download).

It definately not a fast complete which is good news as I have been hammering it for the past 3 days and have completed about 5-6% lol, but I do have some stunning weapons in my garage inc a ISF with 850bhp twin-turbo conversion (sounds awesome), R33 GTR with 650bhp and a full Top Secret bodykit, R32 GTR track car, Lotus Exige with 550bhp courtesy of a Twin-screw supercharger and many more Big Grin

Anyone else go it? Thoughts?
