JAE 2010 Show & Shine Preparation

Well after seeing the quality of the show & shine cars this year, our own 3 lexi included :thumbup: I checked the contents of my cleaning kit at home. So a bit low on supplies I decided to stock up to start building up the shine to show in 2010.
So checked out the sites & found Ultimate Finish was offering best prices. Did look at Autopia but by the time you pay shipping then inport taxes it was not as good a deal (IMO)
So stock up has included:

Dodo Juice need for speed cleaner wax
Maguiars Hot Rims All Wheel Cleaner
Autoglym bumper care
Maguiars Carpet & Interior Cleaner
Autoglym Foaming Tyre Dressing
Maguiars NXT Glass Cleaner
Maguiars Quik Exterior Detailer - Mist & Wipe
Maguiars Quik Detailer Interior
Maguiars Gold Class Shampoo & Conditioner

I know there may be better products out there but Mags always good product & heard good things about Dodo. As for Polish & Wax I already have a selection of P21S, Mags & Mothers. Plus some Zymol alloy wheel sealer. So better get started !

As everyone is now aware i have sold my IS200 to SPC Horsham to be there new project/show car. Sad as i was to see her go i am happy she has gone to a good home and wayne and jamie said i can go and see her anytime which is really good of wayne and jamie.

being i do a lot more miles now i have decided on a E46 bmw 320D Touring heres a picture



i have been in my mates E46 and really enjoyed it and i went for the estate as its nice just to have the room to throw everything in.

Just to let you know i will be sticking around and now i have a diesel should be able to attend more meets then previous.

will try and explain this as best I can, so here goes. I've noticed that when you quote someone who has already placed a quote in their reply, you can only quote their message as opposed to their message plus their quote?

ok well after three months at autoglass i finaly have a date for going to there place in brummy traveling down on the sunday the 11th of october in the works van:ohmy:.. will be down there for two weeks not sure about coming back up road on the friday then back on sunday..don't know area so anybody up for a pint while am down..

Police Statements?

Hi,

Quick question, my claim for the accident involving the IS200 back in December 2008 is still going on. Direct Line have sent me a witness statement, and now believe from this statement that I am at full liability. However this statement is full of facts which are just not the case, this is not my opinion but facts of the incident. for example, he mentions another car, which is untrue as no other car was involved.

From the interview I had with the police, he seems to have condricted himself from what he has said on this statement to the third parties insurance.

Now ive just asked Direct Line whether they have the police file, which they dont, and they are saying they dont need it.

Basically I wanted to ask whether I would be entitled to the police file or even just the statements of everyone involved?

I got legal cover, but not much cover is being provided, and if I have to do it myself then so be it

No, this isn't a mirror, or a bit of polished stainless steel, this is the black (!) paintwork off a car at JAE ! hock:

It's a black Honda Del Sol that won the Honda Show and Shine. Absolutely amazing :drool:
