Thought it was time i gave the motor a bit of a going over with the polisher to see how bad the paintwork really was? The front bumper,back bumper, rear spoiler and skirts all need ripping off and respraying? :blink:

Excuse the pics as i used my little camera and most look bright/dark:cursing:

My IS200

Ok just thought I would do a small write up about my car.
When I first got it, it already had a few mods done to it.
The previous owner had put on a TRD Rear Spoiler and a Bluflame Exhaust


I loved the way it looked

The next thing was a trip down to JAE and meet all the other owners, then a trip up to WIM to get the Geometry sorted out by Tony. While I was there we also got the rear wheel arches rolled so I could get my new 19" alloys fitted.


After that and having talked about getting the car Supercharged when we were at JAE I finaly got hold of one.

Then Gord, Stav & Chris came all the way up to mine to fit it.


I still cant thank you guys enough for doing this for me :thumbup:
Also when the Supercharger was getting fitted Chris also fitted my new S/S Dials

Then next on the list was a HKS Silent High Power Exhaust to replace the Blueflame one.

After that it was a TRD Front Lip and Side Skirts


Then I managed to get some Defi gauges for the car,that Stav also fitted.

The next mod was my windows tinted when we was at JAE 2009



Then we had a trip down to WIM to get the geometry re-checked and the front TTE Red ARB fitted

I've got sitting in the garage ready to fit DBA drilled and grooved front discs , Black Diamond pads, dot 5.1 fluid and S/S braided brake line kit
Also I've still to got the rear TTE Red ARB and drop links to fit .





I have still got more to do but it all takes time :thumbup:

How to calculate the correct ratio for snow foam

When using snow foam, the product might come with instructions that you should, say, use a 4% ratio of product. However, this ratio is normally calculated for how much product should be used directly on the car, *not* how much should be put into the foam lance bottle ! This is easy to get confused about.

For a given amount of snow foam in your bottle, the ratio at the car will depend on the characteristics of your foam lance, of your pressure washer, and even of your water pressure !

Do not despair though, because via a simple experiment you can calculate how much snow foam your particular setup will deliver at the car.

How to use a Rotary Machine Polisher

Please note that machine polishers are normally either "rotary" or "dual-action". Dual-action polishers are typically easier to use for those without experience of using machine polishers, but consulting the respective guide should help you out whichever type you have.
