Refurb of chrome wheels

I only joined yesterday so if I make any mistakes please forgive me.
My new SC430 came with chrome wheels which are looking rather tatty as they are starting to peel. Can you advise me of the best wheel man to undertake the refurb. I live in Warrington, so Manchester or Liverpool would be great. I have just uploaded 3 pictures of the cat this morning (9/8/09)

Help! Vista problem :@

Hi,

Ive copied this from another forum, so its in 2 parts.


Major Problem


I cannot find a technical helpline for Microsoft/Preferably Vista, so cant contact them via phone.


His Problem:

He was shutting down his pc. It came up saying updates, etc etc. On the 3rd update it said "3 of 3 Updates 0%" and got stuck on that for about 20 minutes. he turned the pc off. He came back to it later to turn it on, and on boot up it says "3 of 3 updates 0%". And then after about 10 seconds it says "Windows is shutting down".

I have tried booting it in safe mode, booting it so it goes to last known good configurations, and also off the windows recovery disk. But nothing has helped. Is there anyway around this?


PART 2

Backed up the data (Well a friend did), and formatted the PC. I booted it up with vita, and DRAGGED the files from the external hard drive, back onto the pc...... now i wish ide have just copied them.

When windows was shutting down, it said "Configuring Updates", an hour later "Shutting down". An hour later still "Shutting down". So i just turned off the pc. Booted it back up and it just says "Configuring updates". Is this because there is so many updates to configure, or because his pc is totally fu**ed.


If i have to format it again im going to be pis*** off, becuase it means sending it back down to my friends, to get it backed up, to format it again.... My dads business work is just piling up . Help!! lol

Where to get Silicon Hose

I put up a post in the "Swap Shop" but no one has wanted to do a swap.

So my question is where is a good place to get a silicon hose, I need one to connect to the intercooler.

I'm a bit pi$$ed off that I have not got this done by now, so any help or ideas would be good.

I have looked on fleabay but cant find anything that would do.

I'm offshore at the moment and the internet filter would not let me onto the OJC. But sent in a complaint about it and as you can see I'm now on moke:

Did not think I could handle at least 2weeks without the OJC.
Now I can go back to work a happy Mole again knowing I can now view the OJC Happy days are here again :Chair:

I Found One.....

I was harping on a few weeks back somewhere about the good old days in the 70's when I was a teenager and the cars we loved. I remebered there was a certaion Datsun that was a "Triple S" but couldn't remember alot more about it, other than it was pretty quick of the mark for a Jap car.

Well the other week I went to the Uxbridge Car Show run by the Rotary Club, it was brilliant, loads of Car Clubs in attendance, autojumble, the lot.....BUT I found this superb condition Datsun 160J SSS. The owner had only changed the wheels and it had been garaged for many years, it's a "T" reg so I make that a 78 as I had a T reg Capri at that time.Enjoy the pics of this beauty:
