Nissan provides 'wheels' to #DonateAWheelchair campaign in South Africa

ROSSLYN, South Africa – Nissan handed over five sponsored wheelchairs to individuals in and around Pretoria, South Africa last weekend as part of the Barkzz Foundation's #DonateAWheelchair campaign.The broader campaign is ultimately aimed to donate 200 wheelchairs to disadvantaged individuals living across South Africa who are not part of disability centers. Nissan's corporate vision is to enrich the lives of others through a strong focus on mobility, community and sustainability."It is our hope that through this initiative we will be able to fulfill our brand promise of enhancing the lives of others and help to empower these individuals to make meaningful contributions to their community," said Keba Matlhako, senior manager, BBBEE, ED and CSR Corporate Affairs.#DonateAWheelchair was launched by the Barkzz Foundation, an organization that advocates for the social integration of people with disabilities. Nissan assisted with the handover by providing transport for the Barkzz Foundation to and from the handover locations.The handovers were held over three days, with the first being on the March 18 in Winterveld and Hammanskraal and the second on March 19 in Olievenhoutbosch and Arcadia; the third and final handover was on March 20 in Ga-Rankuwa. Supercars ready for Australian Grand Prix races in Melbourne

MELBOURNE, Victoria, Australia – There may not be championship points on the line when the Virgin Australia Supercars Championship goes up alongside Formula 1 in Melbourne this weekend, but that doesn't mean the NISMO team won't be giving it their all.The Formula 1 support event is only 26km north of the team's Dandenong headquarters and the second closest event for the team; only the annual Sandown 500 a mere 17km "around the corner" is closer.The weekend schedule at Albert Park includes four back-to-back qualifying sessions on Thursday followed by a pair of 13-lap races on Friday and additional 13-lap events on both Saturday and Sunday."I always look forward to the Australian Grand Prix," said Todd Kelly. "It's probably the most relaxed weekend we do for the season with shorter races spread over more days. This gives us a lot more time to enjoy everything the event has to offer. Hey guys,

I finally decided to join this club, after being active on various Facebook groups for a while.

I'm into industrial design, 3D visuals and media but also heavily interested in cars.

I'm daily driving a supercharged IS200 which my team of engineers and fabricators are helping to make better every day. I don't modify my car visually (partly because I can't be bothered and partly because I don't want to draw attention either by the police or by thugs). I live in Sofia, Bulgaria, so being under the radar is a good thing And being a test bed for prototype parts it's always dirty under the bonnet, some things are rusty, because the prototypes haven't been galvanized etc. But it's all about how it drives right? Smiles per gallon and stuff...

Car sharing service featuring Nissan’s ultra-compact electric vehicle launches in Jap

YOKOHAMA, Japan - Nissan Motor Co., Ltd. and the City of Yokohama are introducing a round-trip car sharing service today featuring the Nissan New Mobility Concept, an ultra-compact electric vehicle. The service, “Choimobi Yokohama,” enables users who register online to pick up and return cars in 14 locations around Yokohama Station. Cars can be reserved 30 minutes in advance and can be driven within the city.The service costs 250 yen per 15 minutes plus a 200 yen basic charge, with a maximum daily charge of 3,000 yen. Users need a Japanese driver’s license, a smartphone and a Japan-issued credit card. Lukes GS300

hey all!

Here's my thread on my GS, when i bought it it was completely standard, an oldish man had owned it before me and his wife had said its time for the car to go, so i guess for an easier nag free life he put it up for sale. Shortly after i bought it!

I 'put any pictures up of it standard as we all know what they look like, so shortly after i purchased some HSD dualtech coilovers and a new catback exhaust from long life.



























As some people may remember I was looking into new wheels, but couldn't decide on size and a lot of people gave good advice. I ended up finding a set i believe they are ET30 and the fronts are 9J and the rears are 10J

They are Hart Luftdrag's. I believe they are part of the racing hart brand.


















The rear tyres have now been changed to 265/35.

A couple more things have been added such as a vip table and a set of wind deflectors. I also have a TTE lip and some aristo headlights to fit as well :thumbup:
