Nissan NP200 fleet circumvent the globe – every day
by News Feeder, 26-01-2025, 12:11 AM
ROSSLYN, South Africa – "I hope they have water on Mars," jokes Sarel Jacobs, the national fleet manager of the pathology specialists Ampath in South Africa.Jacobs just completed a report for the busy holiday season in which Ampath's fleet of more than 200 Nissan NP200s travelled over two million kilometers between hospitals, airports, Ampath's various regional laboratories and the national reference laboratory in Centurion, Gauteng."Our fleet management system shows that since changing our fleet to use mainly Nissan NP200s, we have travelled 25,000,000 kilometers," said Jacobs. "That's over a 500 times around the circumference of the Earth and half the distance to Mars."Jacobs has looked after the Ampath and associated practice's fleet for over 25 years, and he has tested or investigated virtually every delivery vehicle and pick-up on the market. In the end, he has standardized his fleet purchasing to only purchase the Nissan NP200 as a courier vehicle."It is simple math," said Jacobs. "The NP200 costs us the least to operate, service and repair. They use the least fuel of all of the options we've tested and they return very acceptable resale values when we sell old vehicles on auction."Jacobs says that he sells his NP200 fleet at an average distance of more than 200,000 km, although he has exceeded that distance on many units. One NP200 was only sold on auction after completing 416,000 km, averaging over 560 km per day during its 24-month tour of duty and still collecting 48 percent of its original purchase price."It certainly helps that there are Nissan dealers near every area in which we operate," said Jacobs. "That means we can service, repair and replace an NP200 easily and effectively while under warranty, without causing unnecessary stoppages and delays to our critical pick-up and delivery service."Ampath is one of South Africa's leading pathology laboratory groups. It has operations in all provinces and in some neighboring countries, and it provides testing facilities on-site at hospitals, in main centers, at its regional laboratories and, for highly specialized pathology testing, at its high-tech laboratory in Gauteng."A doctor sends in medical specimens, and he or she receives the results the next morning, often without realizing that we transported it from the client to the nearest airport and from the destination airport to our main laboratory, overnight," says Jacobs.Jacobs' experience with the NP200 was born out in independent testing conducted by Malcolm Kinsey of the Kinsey Report. Kinsey found that the NP200 offered the most affordable service and repair parts. Given the number of kilometers travelled by the Ampath fleet, the cost of repairs alone risks becoming a large budget item. The Nissan NP200 remains one of the best buys in the bakkie segment, thanks to its 800kg payload, class leading cabin space and standard rubberized load bin. All models are also sold with the Nissan Assured 6 year / 150,000 km mechanical warranty, which is widely hailed as one of the most comprehensive mechanical warranties in the automotive industry.About Nissan Motor Co., Ltd. Nissan is a global full-line vehicle manufacturer that sells more than 60 models under the Nissan, Infiniti and Datsun brands. In fiscal year 2015, the company sold more than 5.4 million vehicles globally, generating revenue of 12.2 trillion yen. INFINITI to show Prince R380 at 2017 Amelia Island Concours d’Elegance
by News Feeder, 25-01-2025, 11:57 AM
The Prince R380, one of the first purpose-built Japanese race cars, won the Japanese Grand Prix in 1966The historically significant race car will make its North American public debut at the 2017 Amelia Island Concours d'ElegancePrince Motor Company is considered to be Japan's original builder of premium automobiles, and its legacy can be traced to INFINITI Motor Company and its current model lineHONG KONG – INFINITI Motor Company will show the iconic Prince R380 race car on Sunday, March 12 at this year's Amelia Island Concours d'Elegance in the Japanese Prototype class. It will be the first public appearance of this historically significant vehicle in the Americas. After breaking several land speed records in 1965, four R380s beat a trio of Porsche 906s to win the 1966 Japanese Grand Prix. The R380 that will be shown at "The Amelia" is the actual Japanese Grand Prix winning car, and is believed to be the only surviving R380 in existence."The Prince R380 is a very important race car, and we are eager to share it with automotive fans from all over the world attending the Amelia Island Concours," said Alfonso Albaisa, executive design director for INFINITI. "Prince Motor Company, during its short time, definitely made history, and its engineering and design legacy continues to live on." The rise of the Prince 380Prince Motor Company narrowly lost the inaugural 1964 Japanese Grand Prix – coming in second to a Porsche 904 – with a specially modified Prince Skyline GT powered by an inline, six-cylinder engine from the larger and more powerful Prince Gloria luxury sedan.Fueled by their success and a passion to be number one, the team set out to develop one of Japan's first purpose-built race cars, resulting in the Prince R380.Built upon a Brabham BT8 mid-engine chassis, the R380 used unique mechanics and aerodynamic bodywork. Shinichiro Sakurai, head of Prince Motors engineering, developed a new engine loosely based on the Skyline GT engine originally developed for the Gloria sedan. Known as the GR-8, the 1996 cubic centimeter, inline six-cylinder engine produced 200-horsepower and was mated to a 5-speed racing gearbox.Because there was no Japanese Grand Prix in 1965, Prince did not have a chance to campaign the four R380s they built. The company did use them for aerodynamic testing and as a result, the R380 set several global land speed records. The second Japanese Grand Prix was held in 1966 at Fuji Speedway, and Prince was finally able to enter its R380. Against the performance of a trio of Porsche 906s, Prince took the victory with the R380 driven by Yoshikazu Sunako in first, just ahead of Hideo Oishi's second place R380.As a result, the Prince R380, in its first official competition, earned its place in history as a very significant race car.Vintage Prince R380 footage. Tachikawa eventually used its engineering expertise to establish an electric car division, which over time began to build internal combustion-powered luxury and performance automobiles, becoming Prince Motor Company in 1952.The first Prince-badged vehicle, simply called Sedan, was a modest executive car. The Sedan's successor, however, was the one that set the company on a new path.Introduced in 1957, the Prince Skyline was available as a four-door premium sedan and five-door wagon. Prince engineers used their aeronautic background to make the Skyline lightweight, allowing it to reach higher top speeds – even with its 60-horsepower, 1.5-liter four-cylinder engine – and also built it with a sophisticated de Dion rear suspension.A luxury sedan version of the Skyline, called Prince Gloria, joined the line in 1959. Eventually the Prince Skyline nameplate also evolved into a series of performance coupes, including the 1962 Skyline Sport, which featured hand-built bodies by famed Italian sports car designer Giovanni Michelotti. Prince then introduced the first Japanese single overhead cam (SOHC) six-cylinder engine in 1963, available in the Gloria luxury sedan. In 1964, when Prince Motor's management decided that a racing pedigree would help further establish its performance image, their engineers took a Skyline, extended the car a few inches from the front cowl, and installed the new, 127-horsepower, six-cylinder engine from the Gloria. The result was called Skyline GT, which was entered into the first Japanese Grand Prix, and narrowly lost the overall race, coming in second to the Porsche 904. Several hundred Skyline GT performance sedans were built to homologate the cars for Prince's racing aspirations.Propelled by their success in the 1964 race, Prince engineers developed the R380, considered one of the first purpose-built Japanese race cars. The R380 campaigned in the second Japanese Grand Prix in 1966, taking the first two positions against the Porsche 906.That year also marked the merger between Prince Motor Company and Nissan Motor Company and the former Prince-branded models were integrated into Nissan's line. The Skyline and Gloria then had a second chapter of successes and have created legacies of their own.Prince R380 footage from NISMO Festival in 2016. Embed this cinemagraph on your website here. The road to INFINITIIn the mid-1980's Nissan Motor Company began to formulate plans for an all-new premium automotive company. The mission of this endeavor was a simple one: to create automobiles that one would want to take on an endless drive. The name of this automotive marque therefore became INFINITI Motor Company and the logo affixed to each of the brand's vehicles represents a road without end.The first INFINITI, the Q45 luxury performance sedan, went on sale in 1989. Over the years, its line of premium automobiles has expanded into a series of coupes, sports and luxury sedans, crossovers, and sport utility vehicles. The heritage of many INFINITI vehicles can be directly traced to Prince Motor Company. The INFINITI G-line of coupes, sedans and convertibles from 2002 through 2014 are descendants of the Prince Skyline, as are today's Q50 sports sedan and Q60 coupe. The Prince Gloria evolved over many years until it became the original INFINITI M45, which two generations later is represented by today's Q70 luxury performance sedan.Prince R380 makes American debut The Prince R380's appearance at the 2017 Amelia Island Concours d'Elegance will be the race car's first appearance in the Americas."The Prince R380 was one of the first Japanese competition cars ever developed," said Bill Warner, founder and chairman of the Amelia Island Concours d'Elegance. "The R380 told where the future was going for Japanese automotive companies, as Prince understood that racing was an important ingredient for establishing a brand. To have the Prince, which was one of the earliest successful race cars, here for the first time in the Americas and at 'The Amelia,' truly is a thrill for me."Prince R380 SpecificationsOverall length / width / height: 3,930/1,580/1,035mmWheelbase: 2,360mmTread (front/rear): 1,280/1,260mmCurb weight: 660kgEngine: GR8 (6-cyl. in line, DOHC), 1,996ccEngine Max. power: Over 147kW (200PS)/8,000rpmEngine Carburetors: Weber 42 DCOE (x3)Transmission: Hewland 5-speedBrakes: 4-wheel outboard discTires (front, rear): 5.00L-15, 6.50L-15 (Dunlop F5)About INFINITI INFINITI Motor Company Ltd. is headquartered in Hong Kong with representations in 50 markets around the world. Embed this cinemagraph on your website New Qashqai is star of the show, with enhanced exterior design, more premium interior, new technology and improved dynamicsUpgraded crossover available with ProPILOT autonomous drive technology during FY17, giving customers a more confident drive and greater freedomNew model is part of Nissan Intelligent Mobility blueprint, guiding exciting innovations in driving technologies, powertrains and energy integrationGENEVA, Switzerland –The next key steps on Nissan’s journey towards a more intelligent motoring future are under the spotlight at the 2017 Geneva Motor Show. The star attraction is the new Nissan Qashqai, featuring a wide range of premium enhancements, a contemporary new design and dynamic performance improvements. Even more Nissan Intelligent Mobility technologies have been added to the vehicle as it celebrates 10 years of crossover leadership.Today Nissan confirms another of those technologies – the innovative ProPILOT autonomous drive system – will be available on the new Qashqai during FY17. Nissan Intelligent Mobility is the brand's blueprint for the future of motoring, targeting zero emissions and zero fatalities. It was first announced exactly a year ago, at the 2016 Geneva Motor Show. Since then, significant progress has been made under all three of its pillars – Intelligent Driving, covering advances on how cars are driven; Intelligent Power, which guides developments on how they are powered; and Intelligent Integration, a wider investment strategy on the role vehicles play in society.Under Intelligent Driving, progress to date includes a public demonstration of Seamless Autonomous Mobility (SAM). It's a development of NASA technology, which will help autonomous vehicles navigate unexpected obstacles.Nissan's vehicle-to-grid technology – part of Intelligent Integration – is now undergoing trials in countries including Denmark and the UK. INFINITI and Renault Sport Formula One join forces to create Project Black S
by News Feeder, 23-01-2025, 04:11 PM
Project Black S explores the potential for a new INFINITI high-performance model lineRadical reinterpretation of the INFINITI Q60 coupe hints at performance hybrid powertrain, inspired by Formula One energy recovery systemsExtensive use of carbon fiber for revised design that enhances aerodynamic performance and coolingMakes its public debut at the 2017 Geneva International Motor ShowGENEVA – INFINITI's Project Black S explores the potential for a new INFINITI performance grade, featuring unique-for-the-road technology inspired by Formula One.Suggesting a radical reinterpretation of the INFINITI Q60 coupe, the Project Black S features a stand-out, aerodynamically-optimized new design. It also hints at how a performance hybrid powertrain – developed in close collaboration with the Renault Sport Formula One Team – could significantly enhance the performance and dynamics of an INFINITI production car.The performance hybrid powertrain being explored through Project Black S features an 'energy recovery system' (ERS) to harvest energy, deploying recovered electric power to boost power and torque. The result is instant, significant, lag-free acceleration. Inspired by the dual-hybrid system proven in Formula One, the technology does not yet exist in a current road car.A new 'Black S' grade, showcased by the new concept, could represent the maximum level of performance and dynamic capability offered by INFINITI. The company believes there is potential for a 'Black S' grade that offers progressive levels of product enhancement – including higher power and torque from innovative powertrains, new or uprated suspension systems, and unique design elements. The unveiling of the Project Black S concept at the 2017 Geneva Motor Show will help to gauge potential interest in high-performance derivatives of INFINITI cars. Click to enlargeProject Black S: in collaboration with Renault Sport Formula OneProject Black S is a celebration of INFINITI's relationship with the Renault Sport Formula One TeamTwo Alliance partners collaborate to develop powerful Formula One-inspired performance hybrid powertrain and carbon fiber bodywork“INFINITI is the premium car manufacturer within the Renault-Nissan Alliance, and a technical partner to the Renault Sport Formula One Team, so it is natural that we come together to explore the possibility of bringing innovative high-performance hybrid technology to our customers."Roland Krueger, President of INFINITIProject Black S is a collaborative venture between INFINITI and its Renault-Nissan Alliance partner, the Renault Sport Formula One Team, celebrating the relationship between the two. After five years as a sponsor in Formula One, INFINITI made the move to become a technical partner in 2016. Drawing on the expertise gained developing hybrid technologies during this time, the company has supported the Renault Sport Formula One Team's development of a dual-hybrid powertrain with an 'energy recovery system' (ERS), contributing knowledge in hybrid technology and additional engineering resources. This technical collaboration has enabled INFINITI to explore the potential for a road-going Formula One-inspired ERS system – a first for a production vehicle. With its multiple links to motorsport, Project Black S would be the Renault-Nissan Alliance's first consumer-facing Formula One-inspired car. INFINITI has also called upon the team's high level of expertise in advanced composite materials to create the carbon fiber bodywork elements of the Project Black S.INFINITI continues to benefit – operationally and technically – from its position within the thriving Renault-Nissan Alliance. The 18-year old partnership sold close to 10-million vehicles in 2016, one in nine of all cars sold globally. That represents Alliance sales growth of 16.8 per cent over 2015 results and marks the Alliance as the fourth largest automaker. Combined savings of €4.3bn in 2015 were achieved through closer integration and synergy efficiencies.Performance engineering: Formula One hybrid technology for the roadINFINITI is investigating the potential for unique Formula One-inspired hybrid technology in a production carEnergy recovery system could contribute to a 25 percent increase in power for INFINITI's new 3.0-liter V6 twin-turbo engine“INFINITI is leading the way with innovative new powertrain technology for consumers, such as the award-winning 3.0-liter twin-turbo V6 engine, and VC-Turbo, the world's first production-ready variable compression ratio engine. With Project Black S, we are looking at how a unique performance hybrid energy recovery system could be adapted from Formula One for use on the road."Francois Bancon, Vice President, Global Product Strategy, INFINITIWith Project Black S, INFINITI is exploring the possibility of bringing to market a unique road-ready performance hybrid powertrain.Project Black S suggests how higher power and torque output could be deployed by fusing the performance hybrid technology with the award-winning 3.0-liter V6 twin-turbo engine, the most advanced V6 engine INFINITI has ever offered. An innovative 'energy recovery system' (ERS) could contribute to greater performance. In its Formula One application, the technology employs two types of motor generator unit (MGU) and a battery pack to gather, store and recycle electrical energy. The Renault Sport Formula One ERS system features an MGU-K unit to harvest kinetic energy from braking, and an MGU-H unit – fitted to the turbocharger – to harvest heat energy from exhaust gases. The energy harvested by each of the MGUs is stored in high-rate discharge lithium-ion batteries, with the recovered electric power deployed to rotate the crankshaft and turbocharger turbine blades more quickly.Project Black S explores how MGU technology, paired with high-rate discharge batteries, could be adapted for road use. A production car with Formula One-inspired performance hybrid technology would benefit from greater power and torque, and instant, lag-free acceleration. INFINITI powertrain engineers have calculated that a performance hybrid ERS could contribute to an approximate 25% improvement in maximum power output.INFINITI believes the Q60 sports coupe could provide the ideal platform for a performance hybrid powertrain, and the concept vehicle revealed in Geneva features a range of further modifications to realize maximum performance. These include a new high-performance titanium twin exhaust system, maximizing the efficiency of air flow through the powertrain.Project Black S also suggests how lightweight 21-inch wheels and wider performance tires could be deployed for greater traction, while hinting at a weight reduction program to fully offset the additional weight of the performance hybrid system. A 'Black S' production car could also benefit from further tuning and modifications to the chassis and suspension.A performance-inspired design aestheticProject Black S to help gauge potential interest in a 'Black S' gradeExtensive use of carbon fiber aids aerodynamic efficiency and enables a motorsport-inspired aesthetic with beneficial weight saving“Project Black S is a daring and elevated representation of INFINITI's performance DNA. It expresses our desire to create cars that are designed to perform, marrying the potency of a high-performance powertrain with a muscular new design. This project has given us the opportunity to experiment with advanced materials to create a performance-inspired aesthetic that draws on INFINITI's motorsport ties through the Alliance."Alfonso Albaisa, Executive Design Director, INFINITIThe 'Black S' grade, hinted at with Project Black S, signifies INFINITI's desire to realize higher levels of performance and driver engagement. 'Black S' models could expand what the existing INFINITI range offers drivers, with higher performance, powertrain developments, modified chassis settings, and a range of performance-inspired design elements. The introduction of a 'Black S' specification would enhance INFINITI's reputation as a manufacturer of premium vehicles that customers love to drive.Project Black S hints at a more aggressive, performance-enhanced offering from INFINITI. Design work has been led by INFINITI's London studio in Paddington, under the management of the INFINITI Global Design Center in Japan. The INFINITI Design London team has created an interpretation of the Q60 sports coupe with Formula One-inspired, performance hybrid power in mind. The concept vehicle is finished in matte grey and black. Gloss black trim replaces the chrome found on the standard car, which surrounds the double-arch grille and lines the crescent-cut C-pillar.The extensive application of carbon fiber elevates the Project Black S concept above other INFINITI grades as the ultimate expression of a driver's car, drawing inspiration from the brand's involvement with motorsport. Alluding to the performance potential of a 'Black S' model, the use of carbon fiber has allowed INFINITI to sculpt thin, blade-like design forms that would not be possible with traditional materials, such as metal or fiberglass. While the Q60's organic and artistic design aesthetic remains, the use of carbon fiber has added a more technical element. Not only is the composite more adaptable; it is also incredibly strong, and carbon fiber components could be used to balance aerodynamic efficiency with high downforce.Large front splitter, rear diffuser, fenders and side skirts are all constructed out of carbon fiber to minimize weight and enhance downforce, while ultra-thin aero 'blades' in the side sills ahead of the rear wheels channel air around the lower body of the car. A large fixed rear wing – also made of carbon fiber – stands proud of the trunk lid, increasing downforce at speed.Deep body stamping from the Q60's manufacturing process allows the Project Black S to retain the sports coupe's deep creases and flowing lines. For the concept, INFINITI designers have wrought a series of changes to create a more daring – even aggressive – design execution.Enlarged air intakes at the front of the car are more effective at channeling cooling air into the engine bay and brakes, and new hood vents help evacuate heat. At the rear, the body is shaped to allow circulating air to escape as quickly and efficiently as possible, aided by vertical aero foils and the large rear wing for maximum downforce and high-speed stability.Forged 21-inch aluminum alloy wheels – highlighted by wheel arch extensions – are larger, wider and lighter than those on the standard Q60, adding to the performance image of the concept while also reducing unsprung mass and rotational inertia at each corner.Future potentialProject Black S suggests what a 'Black S' grade could offer customers, and the concept's debut in Geneva will help INFINITI gauge potential interest in daring high-performance derivatives of its cars that benefit from genuine motorsport technology.About INFINITI INFINITI Motor Company Ltd. is headquartered in Hong Kong with representations in 50 markets around the world. Top 10 finishes for Kelly brothers in Australian Supercars opener
by News Feeder, 23-01-2025, 04:05 AM
ADELAIDE, South Australia, Australia – Brothers Rick and Todd Kelly came away from the opening round of the 2017 Virgin Australia Supercars Championship with top 10 finishes on the streets of Adelaide at the Clipsal 500.After Rick Kelly pulled off a strong fifth place finish in Saturday's first 250km race, Todd Kelly followed that up with a ninth place on Sunday.Michael Caruso's Nissan NISMO-liveried Nissan Altima was also looking strong for a top 10 finish on Sunday before suffering a late-race puncture that sent him back down the order.Swiss racer Simona de Silvestro kicked off her debut in the championship at what is considered one of the toughest events on the calendar. After a solid run on Saturday, her Sunday performance was hampered by being tapped into a spin while entering the pit lane for her second stop and a late-race penalty for curb hopping."I'm happy to finish 9th, but to be honest, when I got out of the car I was a bit annoyed," said Todd Kelly. "The car was really fast; to pass a few cars like that is a sign that we had the thing hooked up. If we had qualified better it shows we had the speed to finish higher than ninth. But we finished ninth and we'll take that. It's quite promising to have a pacey race car at the end there."The Australian Nissan Motorsport will next be seen in action on the streets of Albert Park alongside the Australian Formula 1 Grand Prix on March 23 to 26.Car had good pace today. It hurts to go close to the end for our tyre to blow. Nissan introduces Desert Camel Power – the scientific measure of desert performance
by News Feeder, 22-01-2025, 03:46 PM
DUBAI, UAE – Nissan Middle East has announced a radical new concept, which will eventually revolutionize the way vehicles are evaluated for desert performance. Developed by Nissan engineers, "Desert Camel Power" uses a scientifically proven formula to determine, in an accurately measurable and reproducible way, how a given vehicle will perform in typical desert off-road conditions.Nissan has created Desert Camel Power to help bring clarity to the endless discussions about the inherent off-road capabilities of SUVs in the Gulf market. Horsepower alone is not enough to perform well in desert conditions, but just as horsepower can be calculated scientifically, so can Desert Camel Power, thereby raising the prospect of an at-a-glance indication of a vehicle's desert fitness."Over the past two years we have been researching what elements make a vehicle such as the Nissan Patrol so well-suited to desert driving," said engineer Joseph Rachid El Hachem, Desert Camel Power unit engineer. "Basically, we found that it comes down to the interplay between the vehicle's weight, its velocity and its trajectory. Other factors including manoeuvrability, engine torque and of course the skill of the driver do come into play and cannot be discounted. However, if we standardise a vehicle's approach speed and trajectory in a given environment, we can time how quickly it travels a set distance and subsequently factor in its weight to work out its Desert Camel Power."It's a simple concept and one that can be applied with relative ease to test vehicles in the conditions typically found in the Arabian peninsula."In some ways, it is perhaps surprising that such a formula has not been developed before now, given the amount of time and energy the off-road community puts into making claims and counter-claims about what constitutes a good desert vehicle," said Samir Cherfan, managing director Nissan Middle East. "However, it is typical of Nissan to tackle the issue head-on and take this ground-breaking first step. We are proud that the development work has focussed on Gulf countries. We are also confident that the concept will find widespread acceptance among both the leisure off-road community and those who live and work in areas where off-road capability in a vehicle is absolutely essential."Naturally, any unit of measurement requires a clear definition, which in the case of power outputs requires the development of a scientific mathematical formula. Nissan engineers got together scientists working in the field of metrology (the scientific study of measurement) to both define and find ways to measure Desert Camel Power using methods that are universally reproducible. It took time, effort, inspiration and no lack of mathematical genius to come up with the formula which can be applied to any off-road vehicle, anywhere in the world that positions itself as being desert-capable. That formula can be rendered as:CP = velocity x weight x sin (trajectory)The scientific paper resulting from this collaboration and the formula itself have been presented to ESMA (Emirates Authority for Standardization and Metrology), which has been highly receptive to the idea of this entirely new unit of measurement. ESMA is fully on board to undertake the requisite testing which will help to standardize the new unit, first on a regional and eventually on a global basis.Desert Camel Power will in future be used in all Nissan Middle East showrooms and marketing literature to define the desert capabilities Nissan's SUV line-up."The arguments have raged for decades among off-road enthusiasts about which vehicle is the most capable in the desert and what makes it so," said Cherfan. "Desert Camel Power is a means to scientifically measure and define a given vehicle's fitness to take on the dunes, something which may at least go some way to settling those arguments. Desert Camel Power will also act as a touchstone for Nissan engineers going forward, as they seek, in particular, to build upon Patrol's (Armada in the U.S.) unrivalled capabilities as a conqueror of the dunes."With its unbroken history of selling cars in the Gulf states dating back to the mid-1950s, Nissan's commitment to the region is beyond doubt. This heritage is based on one simple, but deeply held, guiding principle: to bring products to this unique market that fulfil the requirements of all car buyers in what is one of the most extreme and challenging environments – for people and machines – on the planet.About Nissan Motor Co.Nissan is a global full-line vehicle manufacturer that sells more than 60 models under the Nissan, Infiniti and Datsun brands.
