i would imagine 99% of swear words in mainstream music are there because they fit the lyric, or portray the feelings slightly better
but some songs take it to far for no reason,

But even the bleeping out I understand, it's when they make an actual radio edit with no bleeps and actually substitute the swear word that I don't get...........
With the cee-lo one I think it actually works better with the two syllable "forget" rather than one syllable "f***" :biggrin:
