If you have no faith in him tell your insurance that you do not accept his comments, you have the right to request another assessor if your not happy with his findings.

i phoned the bodyshop. they are going to take it off see if it is broken or if they can sort it out, am ok with that. will leave it just now my g/f is going to complain to direct line about him and other stuff, i showed the driver and all the folk that where there that it had split the centre console away so i can always get then to say it happend also. i just have one very sore head with this and feal it's going to get worse.

no news yet. g/f phoned the insurance to find out but they where clueless also.am off on holiday next week so will chase them up if not heard sooner.kind of missing the lex now.

You might be better not being in a hurry mate , with this bad weather you should leave it in the bodyshop .
But can understand why you are getting fed up now
