3SGTE's drink fuel when driven hard. the best I ever got was 30mpg on the motorway at 55mph. Never had flames though.

Chri5 Well it does overfuel a lot.
If driven semi hard it's shooting flames and popping thro exhaust.
It's also doing around 15mpg hock:

They do pop quite a bit when they've got no cat and a free flowing exhaust (as this one has). They overfuel like crazy on overrun. Well, on a stock ECU they do anyway.
