I have the Nankang NS2 on mine and get on well with them, I think that they are quite a soft compound as can smell rubber after a exuberant drive but they grip very well and they are wearing well, had them for about 4 months covered about 3000miles and no signs of wear. Can't comment on Falkens haven't had them.

I know the Pirelli P6000 are very good as my other car has them on and covered 16000 miles so far and still have about 4mm of tread but they aren't cheap!!

yes it was quite addictive  but got to say the turbo on the skyline is a lot more fun, but can be a bit scary at times, especially when it starts to spin in 3rd gear Confusedhock:

i couldnt fault the nexen's as a budget tyre, i had both their N3000 and N6000 on my last IS200 and they performed well

I still have a spare part worn N3000 in my garage

Even if you have to spend your money on new tyres now Andy, please do get your geo sorted as soon as you can afford it, it'll make those tyres last a lot longer !

Just a thought how badly can worn out shocks or springs effect tyre wear? both my rear tyres have worn evenly which is making me think it's not just Geo if at all so is it possible for the tyres to compensate for worn shocks or springs, the rear springs and shocks are original which is 10 years this year so maybe there the problem more than the Geo at least on the rear anyways.
