reganlives ooh! I never thought of that! Now that would be one neat media player lol. How would it be powered though from the mains? I guess a blackberry style adapter/charger will work as it takes micro usb

And. If it can AirPlay apple iPads etc it's like a cheap apple tv really lol
DaveEdin Yep, and you could pick up an external hard disk to store whatever you like on for cheap, seen a 500 GB hd for around 30 quid as well.
The possibilities with this are pretty good for a number of uses...

true, once you get into the realms of that though the cost efficiency starts to decrease rapidly.

yeah don't get me wrong, it's a really really cool piece of kit. I'd quite like to get it running some gadgets around the house, I did a bit of programming at uni for making motors run and all that.
I've got a few projects in mind anyway

Could i use this to have my iTunes library available all the time?
Currently I have my laptop and apple tv, but I can only access the iTunes library through apple tv when the computers on running iTunes.
The music is stored on my networked hdd so storage isn't a problem, just need a way to have the library viable to apple tv all the time. (or I'd there's another way around it let me know, I want to keep iTunes so I can control it through remote)
