Yeah but if you take the not opening it element theb its a totally different story, as stock the vvti engine is more powerful and one of the best power gains yo be had on the earlier engines is to use the vvti heads as they flow better than a ported earlier head. The only downfall is the con rods but they arent exactly hard to change just depends if you can be bothered

Marcus_1UZ looking good mate, be nice when its all done, when i did my one i was so happy when i 1st got it on the road, and not only that know it was the only turboed IS200 V8 out there
Thanks mate; cant wait to have it finished once its all run in and settled i think a couple of rotrex chargers may happen to fall into the bay just to finish it off, do you have any pics of how the exhuasts were routed for the turbo??

el_bandido did you ever get the car running in the end?HI mate, yea it was running 100% when i sold it, but to get the best out of it it still needed about 3K spent, and i just did not have that cash, + i had to get a van for work thats why i sold it!! but still waiting like you all to see it on the road, im not sure why it has took him so long to get it all done
