ok, well your shocks are likely to be getting quite worn by now, assuming they're the original ones. I'm no expert on this, but I wouldn't have thought that would have a huge effect on tyre wear.

Perhaps the shocks being a bit worn will make the handling not quite so good, so as you're going round those roundabouts maybe the car won't be as planted as it could be (similarly the geo would help handling).

I wouldn't expect the tyres to start wearing out loads quicker. A bit perhaps, not loads. But I could be wrong, of course.

my tyres are 215,45,18 (might be 225 i cant quite remember)
and yes they fitted straight on (though i do have spacers cause of my brakes) but theyd fit without them

Yeah ive eyed them up before.

the normal ones will fit i reckon 8 inch all round.

but not the 10inch rears
