changing 1G-fe internals affects supercharger?
to late as i'm running the 1g gte ones now which are denso 315cc and it's ok for what i'm needing. and e-manage blue just now but going up to ultimate soon
too late for me as well cause i already bought a 1G-GTE with the 5speed gearbox
so both injectors are around the same (310cc ) but are both high impedance?
also i think i'm going to go with a greddy ultimate like dimis, but i was wondering, seeing as the silver box has slightly different operation from the black and jay is running just great with only the injector upgrade, would it be safe to continue to use it for this app seeing as i don't have to get into changing internals? at the moment my a/f is around 12.- 13.4.
The denso injectors i have used have the same impedance with the oem. you could also use altezza injectors mate (340cc). Here are the specs:
Specs:
Colour - White
Flow - 340cc
Pintle Holes - 6
Resistance - 14 Ohms (High impedance)
Denso number - 23250-74220 (Toyota number 23209-74220)
why not just do a engine swap. it fits like a glove and the gearbox match up. run turbo's and stock ecu with piggyback and just boost it up. and yes the injectors are the same.
like sparkystav? i thought about that too but i prefer the charger setup and i've grown fond of my cruise control :blushing:
besides if i can get the power i'm looking for without messing with the car too much why bother? as it stands right now, you guys have inspired me, apprently, all i have to do is swap the injectors.
jay_russell see me and rabster both have 1gfe internals and run 250+ without a problem. i'm going up to 320 soon on standard 1gfe internals then i will change them out to hit 400,my turbo is good for more but i will need to change ecu and injectors for that. i think you will find that bad mapping was to blame for people saying there internals failed. you need to do it right.

just about to up the go with new injectors as long as the map is right you shouldnt have a prob. :biggrin:
