A bigger intercooler also, as compressor temps rise so will charge temps.

whats the status on your pulley upgrade Dimis? i had to delay mine a bit to buy rear lower control arms from Fig's. hopefully this will sort out my negative camber in the back

I have a 148mm pulley.

alright update time.

today i had a bit of bad luck. the auto tranny gave out before i could do the supercharger upgrade:cursing:. So i was forced to make a decsion. fix the auto or go manual. i started to think do the manual swap and continue with the upgrade cause it would probably have to be done in the long run but it was then i found out parts/labour pricing can be a little weird here(the caribbean).

Appranently it costs (converted to pounds) 1200 to repair the auto and about the same to complete the manual conversion. (get drift ready or keep my cruise control?) Decisions, decisions

So i thought, lets look around, get to breaker and see how much a used tranny may cost and while i was there, sitting tucked away in a corner is a nissan RB26 with a getrag 6 speed. apparently they (the owners) realised by my expression that i was quite aware of how rare that was and before i could ask he said "oh no, that's already sold and no 2jzs but i have something u might like" and shows me a mint condtion, single turbo 1JZ VVT-i with tranny all wiring intact and the best part "you can have it for 900" :w00t:

$1200 conversion/repair or $~2.5k JZ swap? What would u do?






i'm going to do an all out swap:kiltsmilie:. stay tuned for pics. but i'm interested in what you all would have done and why

oh and i may have a complete tte charger kit with silverbox ecu up for sale in a bit

Started the swap friday. charger removed and the engine was out by saturday.

here's a pic of where they stopped today.

tomorrow a/c, fuel lines and modified drive shaft will be installed, maybe intercooler piping also. they're hoping to have me out of there by weekend
