Marsdendean I'm unsure what's missing but the spring is what was broke when I bought it, could there be a chance the cover came off when the spring broke on dandy ? I left all the spring assembled and didn't touch it on removal !
You could be right Dean - when the spring assembly broke there was defo bits went awol but I dont know what bits exactly. (I never refitted and got charger removed when I knew car was getting sold) All the bits I recovered were in the box I sent with the charger but I thought you had got hold of a new assembly ?

the bypass part was already built up with the cable attached.......so it hasnt been touched at all..as said bits might be in the undertray..

I *think* i have the screw somewhere, but not the spring
Stav is there any chance you could see if you have that screw?

Ive checked the undertray and there is nothing there, just a few stones...
