Flat battery?

Marsdendean On my last one it unlocked and everything seamed OK until i turned the key and it just clicked away . . .The AA told me it had something like 87 cranking amps and it should of had 330!
That's what happened to me the last time I had a flat battery, which is what made this so weird.
Btw could this have been caused by my chronic lack of use? I've done about 150 miles in the last 4 months.........

That would probably do it, When I used to use the tube i was probably doing less miles than you are.....,mine used to go flat every time I went to use it in the winter, got fed up of calling the AA and bought myself a booster pack! No issues so far this year but I'm doing loads of miles now!

Does seem like it may have been a contributor - just don't get how it went from working fine to completely and utterly dead in just a few days......

With constant use on a 9yr old battery mine lasts around 2wks before deciding it wants a re-charge. The alarm and mobiliser still work, but the car wont start. Removing my Alpine head unit which had a direct connection to the battery improved the drain as well.
