Get your car to a repair bodyshop of your choice. The insurance company can only advise you where they want it to go - if they don't know the marque go somewhere that does.

You can take your car to any bodyshop, as Phil said, so choose one where you know the work will be ok (based on recommendation etc).

Did your car come with the TTE bumper originally or was that a mod ? If it was a mod, did you tell the insurance company ?

IS200 Turbo project now just about complete ! See my thread here and leave your comments.
Now running standalone Syvecs ECU and no stock ECU !

well phoned the bodyshop today to see if the engineer had been out said no. he has got a price for a tte bumper sorted, around the £370 mark i think he said. he also asked me if i wanted the car fixed or rote off.told him that it had been a great car etc etc. and it has totaly sickend me and it will never be the same car if you guys know what i mean.so said i don't think i want it back,so see what the engineer say's.think the body shop might bump up the price as to rite it off not sure what he ment by do i want it back. well i do but it all comes down to what i would get for it.

also got a phone call from the solicitors about comp for me and leanne.

yh they can sell the car back to you as it is and then get paid the rest of the difference of the value of the car.

then you car repair, in which case the car may be cat D and as any other catogories they normally woulnt ask u

No from what I can understand just insurance company decided not to repair, but you are able to repiar and does not need to be inspected
