Beeping noise when unlocking is200
Beeping noise when unlocking is200
After unlocking the lexus i sometimes get a loudish beeping noise, about 7 or 8 beeps. It comes from around my boot area. Dont know if its the same sort of idea but i know in some laptops the number of beeps corresponds to a particular error. Would that be the case with this?

No mate it wont lock you out, if you can get the unit out i'm pretty sure you can get a replacement battery for it from somewhere like Maplin shops? not sure on cost though?

Unplug it if you can mate and see if it can be opened, so that you can see if the battery that's used comes out, if it does take it into Maplin's and see if they do one similar to it?? Or the other option would be to pop into a breakers and pop one out

If you remove the trim on the right hand side of the boot, reach up behind the internal body brace panel/Outer skin of the quarter panel, the siren should be there? If you buy a new one from Lexus there silly money @£350-£400 for a new back up siren?
