the engine sorta sounds like a huge exhaust if u get me ? it just happened all of a sudden and i pulled over and left it there as my dad (phil) u all know him told me not to drive it as it did sound like my engine was dead over the phone... just wanted a 2nd opinion from you guys
theres no mayo like substance on the oil filler cap nor the radiator cap.

24-03-2018, 11:46 AM #12I think your Dad has given you some good advice there ! It sounds like something bad has happened, and if you drive it you risk making that worse (if possible ?). Didn't your Dad used to work for Toyota ? He probably knows more about engines than the vast majority of us here !

the exhaust manifold to where the downpipe has snapped off...
so this is what is giving the loud sound etc etc..

found the break.
it snapped so cleanly. looked like had been angle ground it was so smooth the break. but its right above the front subframe.
so nothing too big
