Hi guys,

I have a problem with the front suspension and I have no clue which part it could be so I thought I will try to ask you guys. It is definitely front, driver side and the problem is when you turn the steering wheel even slightly the sound comes like old, rusty, squeaky doors and it is very loud inside the car and even louder outside. Any thoughts appreciated guys. Thanks in advance!

Are you sure it's not the power steering mate? Lack of fluid or loose belt?

Fluid level is right in between minimum and max, didn't check the belt, not 100% sure but I think its suspension. Is there any way to find out what is could be? Thanks Sparky

belt is fine, fluid level just above minimum. As I said, I think its suspension. Went to the garage last time to check it, but as soon as I got there that squeaky sound disappeared. Its not always there, it appears and disappears occasionally. By the way (not related to the topic) but measured my S/C pulley and its 120mm. Definitely needs upgrading.. Big Grin

Definitely odd! If it's audible at standstill your best bet is just get someone moving the steering while you get your head into the engine bay (carefully obviously) and have a listen about

Think squint on Facebook has them, but not cheap. Lexuspat knows the part number for the merc pulley that works I think.
