Not sure if this is overkill mate, but the Gizzmo MS2 is a great bit of kit? but a bit on the pricey side? i had a Greddy one in the skyline and that worked fine :thumbup1: the Gizmo MS2 has both the turbo timer and the boost controller and has a lot of good reports on its accuracy :thumbup1:

You dont really need one to be honest rabster, though they are nice to have.

I'd always try and get one with an auto mode so if your going on a long journey it makes sure you really cool it down.

I dont think itll affect your car any more but with the IS you can wire the ign1 and ign2 wires in, though if you wire both the standard remote lock doesnt work, if you wire just the ign1 (i think) the remote lock works but the alternator doesnt charge so its just running on battery for the duration of the countdown.

Rabs will the turbo timer work with your After market alarm.
As the car needs to continue to run even if you walk a way from it.

You can set the time the engine runs for i guess you already know this.

I am sure your find away to make it work...

I wouldn't bother. It's nigh on impossible to make turbo timers work with thatcham installed alarms. I'm pretty sure the Clifford alarms that have built in timers aren't thatcham approved.

As said above, if you're really going to bother (I don't believe they are worth it, having run my car both with and without) make sure it's one with an auto functionality which monitors boost and revs over time and calculates how long to run the engine for.

Also presumably you already have some variety of boost controller unless you're just running on actuator pressure? Even if it's just a grainger valve.
