Once you figure in the cost of engine , uprated brakes , uprated suspension and a MR2 gearbox with LSD you have spent a lot of money on a car that will be fast in a straight line but wont handle a well as a GT4.
But your money so your choice - sometimes its good to be ifferent.
However if you do go GT4 check it out thoroughly - the SS suspension is expensive to replace and ideally it needs a recent cambelt & clutch

ad: It was a tough call to make, but the Supercharged IS200 is being retired. ad:I looked into it when I had a couple 6th Gen GTs. It's possible, but a waste of time and money. If you really want a turbo 4WD Celica, sell your GT and get a GT4, it's the only way it makes any sense.

japgirl im same position got a gen 6 non turbo i like how gt4s look i want one bad!! plus anything is better than front wheel drive.
The Celica GT is one of the finest handling FWD cars ever made!
