Hi all

I was a member back in the day when I had my last jap car. But I sold her and really regret it. So when we was looking for a new little car I had to get another jap car. Its not the most powerful car as its only 1.5 sport but its a great little car and really am pleased with it.

Hi all, Lexus fan from Ireland
by lexusis200d, 15-01-2023, 12:17 AM
Hi guys, Big fan of Lexus cars. Love the IS200 and newer models, IS-F would be a dream car to have, someday maybe. I have 00 IS200 sport with full TTE kit, TRD wedge spoiler, Eibach lowering springs, TRD ARB front and back, 17" sport alloys, KMAC rear camber bushes and offset front upper arm bushes.
Great car to drive but lacking power 1gfe plant. Thinking of s/c it, like the DIY kit done by LexusPat, very tidy and affordable.
My brother drives 2011 IS200d F-sport, gunmetal grey, std F-sport spec, he loves it and very good on juice. Just remember to leave 6th for motorway only! But still they drive way better than std IS220.
We have an ae86, Carina E's, KP61, landcruiser, 05+06 1.4 d4d Corollas in the family!!
Looking forward to finding out good info etc on all jap cars on this site.

New thread as this is where i should of started it in the first place.

Onto the car it is a 2003 Honda S2000 i bought this in march 2014, after owning a is200 then a bmw touring, i now had the works van and the use of other halfs car i could buy a summer toy. To keep for a year or 2, so started looking at mx5's cheap as hell but to way to common and power was not to bad but i wanted something different that had a little bit of poke if i was to floor it, so started looking at Porsche boxers you could pick one up for about 3 grand but thought of the potential repair costs and i did want to be back in a jap car again.

Next step call up my insurers to see what the insurance costs would be for a few cars im looking at Evo5 £1400, r32 skyline £1200, Soarer tt £800, S2000 £500.

So looked around for Soarers and s2000 all the soarer i wanted were all autos which i didnt want for a toy so looked at a few s2000's most were overpriced or just dog rough after a bout a month of looking i saw (the one i own now on ebay classifieds) got intouch with the guy he was away all week but comming past my house on friday whoop whoop so he stopped by and it was very clean and well looked after, he was selling as he had another kid on the way and needed a bigger car so i took it off his hands for a reasonable price, the only aftermarket parts on the car were lowerd on BC Coilovers and alloy wheels 17'' polished lip body coloured centres k&n filter in standard intake pipe.

I had it 2 day before i saw Dhino while i was cleaning the car so off goes Dhino to get the camera and off we go to snap a few pics.

Didn't realise this was a Lexus club, but never mind.

I've got a Mazda 3 MPS mk2 in velocity red, highly modified.

I was looking to book a stand at Japshow for our club but interest seemed quite low so I checked the Japfest site for other clubs booked on and thought I'd give yours a go.

If anyone can link me to the Japshow thread that would be great.

Hi all,

Since selling my 350z about a year ago I've been on the hunt for another GT4. Well around 6 months ago I found one in red which I bought. A '94 import model with a freshly rebuilt engine and pretty much standard:

GS300 ... The Daily
by FOSSIL FUELS, 23-12-2022, 08:34 PM
So my IS200 is going to the scrapyard in the sky...

I managed to purchase an extremely well looked after GS300.

Completely stock and in great condition... With a full service history and only 3 previous owners.. The first person for the initial 11 years (full Lexus history - Owned by a Doctor... No expence spared Smile )... Second 2 years (Toyota history)... Then the guy I bought it off off, he purchased the GS in September... Fitted a new cambelt kit, did a full service, fitted 4 new tires then decided to sell it as health problems and has to cut down on expenditure.

As always.. Pictures say 1000 words...

As always... Bring on the mods Wink

Already fitted HID's and LED side lights

LED rear lights...

Twin exit back boxes to be welded on when I get a chance Smile

I'm also going to be fitting the FUEL 5 wheels that are currently on the Supra as she's getting new wheels Wink

I'll be fitting a new Bluetooth/DAB radio in a couple of weeks and a new 10" competition sub in the boot

Thanks for looking
