Tyre Shine Products
by Dinho, 21-11-2022, 07:08 PM
What tyre shine would you recommend. I've been using Turtle Wax Nano Tech Gel, but I can't find it anymore so I am having to move onto something different. Just want to know what people have found good. Preferably the gel type.

recently bought myself another 300zx, its a swb slicktop. it was an auto n/a but when im done it will be a manual tt. its in very good condition and when im done it will be even better. started with the back end. quick wire brush down and some under seal. removed the subframe to strip it and poly bush the lot. more progress pics as i go. im not rushing it at minute as work is busy so i just do little bits here and there. i will finish the under seal when i remove the shockers to fit my apexi ones Smile

I have finaly finish my home made kit with some improvement from standard kit(electronic bypass valve and electronic clutch on the supercharger).

Hi Guys,

I'm Gem, 30 from Nottinghamshire, currently have a Ratty BMW E30 & A Nissan Primera, mostly had BMW's/VW's In the past but fancied something different and this was to good to miss.

It's a 1.8 Sport with 75k on the clocks and immaculate.

yet more problems with the scooby :(
by bambam, 09-11-2022, 01:52 PM
Well here goes.... when i got my car 3 weeks ago all was good and boosty, now the car doesent seem to pick up until around 4500 rmp and even then it aint much to brag about, ive just had overheating issues wich turned out to be the thermostat and a blocked return pipe, however the previous owner has put the fans on a constant live so the car doesent get hot enuf for the thermostat to open, anyway it did go flat now and agean before that but the boost problem seemd to come after all that.... anyone got any ideas?? Cheers

My new car

Not got much planned other than a parrot asteroid kit and some face lift headlights for DRL badassery.

Edit, info about the car:

Black on black leather IS250 SE 6 speed auto. Paddle shift is a lot of fun, I much prefer it over the IS300 E-shift, as it's actually possible to select first gear with the paddles in this one, whereas 2 was as low as you could go in the 300. Makes launching off the lights a bit easier.

Car isn't hugely fast but my god does it handle very very well. It's unbelievable actually, chucking it into corners is far too easy. Definitely quicker than an IS200 but it feels marginally slower than the IS300 did. From the feel of the car, I think the new IS' have speed sensitive power steering (unlike the 1st gen) which takes a bit of getting used to.

cone air filter for is200 supercharged
by Morango, 07-11-2022, 02:11 PM
I have an apex cone filter at the moment and its old and needs changing. Is there much difference with different air filters? Does it make much difference? What should I go for?

Cheers

Bluetooth kit that can play music through?
by Sparkystav, 04-11-2022, 06:14 PM
Right I want to upgrade the bluetooth kit in my wife's car so she can play music from her phone through her stereo.

She's got the basic parrot kit fitted now. But don't know which model to go for.

Hi everyone,

My name is Jake. I'm 22 and I have just bought myself a 2003 IS200 Sport with 77,000 miles on the clock. One lady owner (Police woman) with full service history. There are a few dents, scrapes and scratches but fortunately all of that is just cosmetic. Everything that makes it a car is in good working order.

Anyway, glad to join the forum! There's always some really interesting reads on here and I like to dream too!

Hope to ask some questions soon.

Cheers,

Jake
