2013 Injector Dynamics UK Outlaw FWD Shootout
by RichardB, 14-01-2021, 08:36 AM
[Image: header.jpg]

Not only will the weather be hot in July but the track action at Shakespeare County Raceway’s (http://www.shakespearecountyraceway.com) mid summer Public Track Weekend will be even hotter as some of the quickest and fastest Front Wheel Drive Outlaw cars descend on the Warwickshire quarter mile for the third annual UK FWD Outlaw Shootout.

With an estimated prize fund of over £6000, the 2013 Shootout has attracted as its title headline sponsor Injector Dynamics headed up by company owners Tony Paulo of T1 Race Development and Paul Yaw of Yaw Power Products. Injector Dynamics pride themselves on being an innovative company who have brought a superior range of fuel injectors to a market where results with better and more reliable performance for both racers and tuning enthusiasts alike – count.

It is expected that there will be a full 16 car field on hand at Stratford-Upon-Avon’s Shakespeare County Raceway with many of the countries top teams competing in some of the quickest 9 second FWD cars on the planet. Although in previous years the event has been won on reliability rather than power, this years event promises to be no different with every driver entering hoping that he/she can take home some of the prize monies on offer from the UK FWD Outlaw Shootout sponsors which include; The Drive Shop, EFI-Parts, CPL Racing, Concept Graphics & Solutions, LA Racing Parts in association with Mickey Thompson Tires and VP Racing Fuels. To become a race sponsor check out the event web site at http://www.outlawshootout.co.uk.

Previous winner of the inaugural Shootout was Adam Buckley’s consistent high 9 second Honda Civic Type R sponsored by TDI North while last year’s the title fell to a 650 bhp MGZR Turbo of Andy Nicholls. Who will scoop the title prizes and overall shootout title this year? Find out on 21st/22nd July at Shakespeare County Raceway’s triple header meeting with the 4th annual For Ladies That Launch competition. See you at the strip?

Lexus IS200 (The III)
by dj0nes, 13-01-2021, 03:16 PM
Hello guys and gals I am back with my third IS200.

Ever since I brought my first one a few years back, I have owned over ten cars but never really had one which gave me everything the IS200 did with the same reliability and looks and price.

I brought another IS200 late last year but it didn't really feel the same as my original so that went a few weeks after.

Step forward my third IS200, this one is older than my last two and done nearly double the mileage at 170k!
That's travelling from London to Australia about 17 times for you fact lovers out there!

She drives on par if not better than my first one no problems what so ever and feels so tight on the roads too.

As she sits today she has been lowered I believe (or on Sport springs maybe) 17" Team Dynamic alloy wheels which are in unmarked condition, Genuine TTE bumper and engine dressing, HKS Silent exhaust, smoked headlights.

My plans? Front Square number plate, JDM style rear lights, smoked fog lights, HID headlights, light smoke window tint all round, possible swap the wheels for some RX8 ones in gunmetal, induction kit. All of which will happen in the coming month or two so I will post some progress pictures up.

Opinions on new build
by reco2k, 10-01-2021, 03:51 PM
Hi all

After a lot of thought recently i am going to embark on a track project. I have decided i am going to use the 1uzfe engine but cannot decide on which shell to put itin. I think i have narrowed it down to either a supra or an IS but thought i would get some opinions from people who know what they are talking about lol
I want something that once finished will handle well on track but could also be drifted with a simple set up change and will be able to handle 400+ hp

Also up for any other shell suggestions :-)

Can any of you northern lot recommend somewhere to get some tyres fitted in Manchester? Anyone we know around here that can do a quick fit without costing the earth? Not that fussed about a balance as I've only done about 2k since Tony balanced mine.

Hi everybody
by ChrisIS200, 09-01-2021, 07:52 AM
Hi I'm Chris. I drive a 2001 Lexus IS200 Sport. No real mods. My car has TTE bumpers and Aero alloys which were an option to come standard anyway lol.

Just joined here after hearing a lot on Facebook and Lexus owners club. I've been on LOC for a while and heard a lot of members talk about this forum.

Once I get my head around how to use this site I'll upload some pics and sort my profile pic, signature etc...

Cheers,
Chris Smile
