Hello - new member and SC430

Hi,

Just bought a Lexus SC 430 (totally stock car) in Millennium Silver and Black interior.

Based not far from Northampton so thought we'd see if there was room left on the stand at JAE event? The London tunnel run also sounds tempting...........

Hi all newbie here from lincoln.
Thought i would introduce myself, i currently have a Corolla T-sport which i bought back in march, Cracking car compared to my old clio 1.6.
So far my mods are:
HID headlights & LED side's
17" Black 6-spoke alloys
Tein Coilovers
Jap Style Backbox
Jap Style Front Plate

Future Mods:
Induction Kit
Short Shifter
Paint
Poss Piggyback ECU??

I am interested in local meets if there are any but i suppose you lot will know more then me.

Network switches

Hi everyone, sorry haven't really been around much lately, been quite busy plus the car is getting fairly neglected.

Another random PC question which is now the norm from me, can I simply connect a wired network switch to one of the ports on my router and extend the number of wired connections, or is not as simple as that?

Basically using something like any of the items on this page:

Faded carbon

So after the car sitting for 9 months or so the carbon bonnet is really badly faded, I ll try get a pic up but it looks white!!

Anyone had this before? Any tips?

ECU wiring for novices

Right....

Say for instance I had a 1uzfe ECU from an LS400 and wanted to put said engine in my IS200, I assume I'd be able to use the LS400 ECU to get the engine running and provide information to the dash etc?

I'd expect to lose things like traction control etc. but would this be enough to look after the LS400 gearbox and everything else that would allow the car to run (until a standalone was installed).

If I had the wiring diagrams for both cars, is this going to be particularly hard work?
