How much is my Legana bumper worth?
by sprinter2012, 17-02-2020, 11:25 PM
Thought it best to put this in here in case people got too excited seeing the word 'Legana' in the for sale section.

Just wondering how much my Legana would fetch if I were to sell it?

I'm unsure whether the work I've done to it would increase or decrease its value...

It's a genuine Toyota part in plastic.

Mods I've done to it are:

Holes drilled for LED DRLs

Number plate support cut out

Carbon fibre centre bar

It's all sanded down ready for spraying, just needs a coat of paint on the bumper, and a coat of lacquer on the carbon.

I only ask because while I've been looking at all the options for making my IS go faster, the option that keeps popping up is that I'd probably be better off in the long run just selling up and getting an Evo.

Ideas for the IS200 nav unit
by el_gencer, 17-02-2020, 06:24 PM
Hi peeps. Just got myself a bargain off fleabay.
http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/140729859269?s...500wt_1413

Now i'm not quite sure what to do with it when it arrives. I guess i'll need to get the motor working first. Is that an easy task ? Once i've done that i'm thinking about doing the following :-
  • get the screen working and push my phones tv out on it some how
  • replace the screen with my phone or a cheapo android device
  • replace the screen with a lilliput monitor

So whats the easiest/best option there in peoples opinion ?
(new ideas also welcome)

The next NSX
by FirebirdPhil, 17-02-2020, 03:42 PM
Well this will be an amazing car, I wonder if Honda will make a Euro spec one, or just USA? Will it ever arrive?

http://consumerguideauto.howstuffworks.c...ra-nsx.htm

Either way it looks amazing - but has a huge hill to clime in order to match and beat its rivals and its predecessor.

How do
by paulgtt, 16-02-2020, 05:19 PM
Hi guys

Im Paul from Grantham, was at the Sleaford meet last night after was asked to pop along by Shaun (white MR2), was good to meet you guys and some nice cars too.

I have a Celica GT-Four and am also a member of GT4OC and Celica-club.co.uk, had it for nearly 4 1/2 years and have slowly built it up to the spec that it is now. I set out to make it a fast road car but also capable of handling a few trackdays, which it seems to do ok with!

Anyway heres a quick piccy from a couple of years ago:

Will get some more recent pics when I get round to it

Petrol Strikes?
by Saraj, 16-02-2020, 03:04 PM
How is the current problem affecting everyone?

All I wanted to do today is put petrol in to get to work, and couldn't anywhere where either its open or no cars lining up !

What on earth are people thinking? If there was going to be strike there would 7 days notice.

I was hoping to go shopping this weekend with the kids, which I am going to need petrol for, but at this rate I got no chance, either that or I line up and look like a numpty !
