I use Outlook for email, so I had it set up to preview all image files in Photoshop now I turn the pc on today and for no reason that I can see it has reverted to previewing files in Paint or Infranview (a great tool for)

Does anyone know how to reset the image preview in Photoshop????

Hmmm...could be loosing coolant.
by jimxms, 01-04-2019, 04:53 AM
So I topped up my coolant last week after noticing that there was nothing in the reservoir at all. The car has probably traveled 50 miles since then, but last night I checked the coolant level again to find that it had gone down probably 2-3cm.

I felt around the aftermarket upper radiator hose that I fitted last week and there is no moisture or any signs of sticky pink/white coolant so I don't think there is a leak there.

The splash tray under the car does have some white/pink residue on it but that's been there for about a year and when I put my hand on it it didn't feel damp.

Could it be that because my coolant level was left to run empty previously (and I replaced my radiator hose) that the coolant level has dropped because it has had a chance to fill some of the 'gaps' that may have been lacking coolant from before?

I suppose the only way to tell is if I top it up again and see what happens? Is there anything else I can do to determine if I have a leak from somewhere?

Right then......need help
by Carpediem, 31-03-2019, 07:32 AM
Me and the misses are buying a house together, depending on how quickly her flat gets sold probably by September / October

Which means the lexus has to go as i cant afford a mortgage, plus car finance, and my insurance hike coming my way.

So my question is, I own a base spec IS220D, will i be just as happy in an IS200/IS300??

I'll have saved up about £2k by the time i need to get rid of lexy (dont ask, misses named it) im guessing insurance wont me to bad,

what should i look out for? any common problems? will it be reliable enough i can just give annual service and not worry about it?

cheers guys

UK postal delivery
by Phil01, 31-03-2019, 05:57 AM
WHY?
On the 3rd of May I ordered from ebay two items, One was a strut brace from Hong Kong and the other was 40 drop springs from Leeds in the UK.
Guess what?? Yesterday the strut brace was delivered by courier after travelling half way round the world being supplied with a tracking number and a constant update of where it was.
According to the status, my springs were sent out the same day,Still waiting for them to be delivered, Leeds is only 150 miles away, I could have walked there and back quicker. Contacted the seller and his lame excuse was, "please allow 21 days" yea right.
How can this country get it so wrong sometimes!!

Dangerous driving
by parthiban, 30-03-2019, 07:29 AM
Saw this on the news this morning and was a little confused, can you not already get a fine for dangerous driving?

http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/uk-13356057

It's stupid though, why get a ticket for undertaking but not for hogging a particular lane creating the opportunity for undertaking? If I ever got done for that I'd be taking it straight to court Smile
