Hi Guys
manners first I guess
My name is Stuart and I've owned my IS200 for about three weeks now. Very impressed with the car overall and amazed at how much you get for the money :thumbup1:
Anyway, when I bought the car the lad said that occasionally it would idle a bit high when it was stone cold, but this would only happen now and again and never once the engine was warm.
True enough.
No issues from warm and not once a high idle.
Until yesterday :cursing:
It idles at about 2k and even as high as 2.5k, although this does get better once it's warmed up and presents no issues when you are driving.
The normal Google searches have offered no clear answer other than look out for coil packs (I have no misfire at any revs)
Any advice would be greatly appreciated. Thanks
This is probably a long shot but............ My wife's Mazda6 won't lock from the keyfob. We've checked that the doors are shut properly, and the light works on the fob so we don't think it is a battery problem. I've tried re-programming the key this morning but it still doesn't lock. The spare key is exactly the same. Luckily we can still lock the car manually with the key. Anyone have any experience of this, or can give me any tips?
Thanks
Ally
Tony just posted this up on WIM, seemed sensible to put the word out!

The Integra is a front-wheel drive car made my Honda/Acura to compete with hot hatches like the Volkswagen Golf VR6. Although the car was available in various versions, the DC2 Type R version remains the most poplar Integra. It was manufactured between 1997 and 2001.
At the heart of this car is high-revving 1.8 liter engine that employed Honda’s VTEC system. The engine produced an astonishing 197 horsepower and 133.8 pounds feet of torque. It could accelerate from 0 to 60 mph in just 6.2 seconds. The engine used in the car is a thoroughly modified version of the B18C1 engine found in the GS-R version. It has redesigned engine head many other improvements, which all resulted in a higher power output and an extended redline and improved refinement at high rpm. The Type R Integra has a torque sensing limited slip differential that drove the front wheels. It also had a number of modifications that aided the handling of the car by a large extend.
The Mitsubishi Lancer Evolution Tommi Makinen Edition got launched in 1999 as a variation of the Mitsubishi Lancer Evolution VI. It is regarded as one of the greatest Lancer Evolution model of all times. It is sometimes called The Lancer TME or the Lancer Evolution 6.5.
The TME used the same 2.0 liter turbocharged engines as the Evo V1, but had a host of performance parts to set it apart. These include distinctive body work and paint resembling Tommi Makinen’s WRC car, Red/Black Recaro seats, a titanium turbine, quick-ratio steering, lowered ride height and front strut brace among others. The car was launched in celebration of Tommi Makinen’s successive championship victories driving the Mitsubishi Lancer Evolution WRC car.

Happy Birthday Parthiban, have a great day
