Five guys in an Audi Quattro arrived at an Irish border checkpoint. Paddy the officer stops them and tells them:
"It is illegal to put 5 people in a Quattro."
"What do you mean it is illegal?" asked the driver.
"Quattro means four" replies Paddy.
"Quattro is just the name of the automobile," the driver retorts disbelievingly. "Look at the papers: this car is designed to carry five persons."
"You can not pull that one on me," replies Paddy "Quattro means four. You have five people in your car and you are therefore breaking thelaw."
The driver replies angrily, "You idiot! Call your supervisor over I want to speak to someone with more intelligence!"
"Sorry," responds Paddy, "Murphy is busy with 2 guys in a Fiat Uno."
A father walks into a restaurant with his young son. He gives the young boy 3 pennies to play with - to keep him occupied.
Suddenly, the boy starts choking, going blue in the face. The father realizes the boy has swallowed the pennies and starts slapping him on the back.
The boy coughs up 2 of the pennies, but keeps choking.
Looking at his son, the father is panicking, shouting for help.
A well dressed, attractive and serious looking woman, in a blue business suit is sitting at a coffee bar reading a newspaper and sipping a cup of coffee.
At the sound of the commotion, she looks up, puts her coffee cup down, neatly folds the newspaper and places it on the counter,
gets up from her seat and makes her way, unhurried, across the restaurant.
Reaching the boy, the woman carefully drops his pants; takes hold of the boy's testicles and starts to squeeze and twist.
Gently at first and then ever so firmly.
After a few seconds the boy convulses violently and coughs up the last penny, which the woman deftly catches in her free hand.
Releasing the boy's testicles, the woman hands the penny to the father and walks back to her seat at the coffee bar without saying a word.
As soon as he is sure that his son has suffered no ill effects,
the father rushes over to the woman and starts thanking her saying,
"I've never seen anybody do anything like that before, it was fantastic. Are you a doctor?"
"No," the woman replied, "I'm with the Inland Revenue."

hock:Ok, bear with me here...:o
My MR2 has Rota gt-r silver and polished wheels
(staggered) 17"x9J front 17"x9.5J rear.
They came with the car and I am aware that the front 9J is far to wide for an MR2, however.. I love the wheels and they don't do an 8J in the same style
So, have a coilover suspension , thus no issues with tyre rubbing now. Tyres on the rear are currently 245/40/17 and the front 215/40/17.
Ok, with me still ? cool.. moving on...
Going to fit Abflug arches to the car and have inner arch cut etc so I have loads of clearance and an agressive look.
My concerns are..
Offsets are agressively wrong been ET 30 front and the rear ET 25
I want to fit a wider tyre to the front, as a 215 is far to thin,
so looking at 225 or possibly a 235 "if" this remains balanced with the rears been 245 or should they become 255 ?
Adding to the equation, i am looking at fitting hubcentric spacers front and rear.. 20mm to the front and 50mm to the rear. This hopefully bringing alloys out to fill new Abflug arches
Advice, thoughts .. am on the right track, will the wheeels just fall off or what

Anyone else enjoyed this series:thumbup1:
Just finished watching season 3 and waiting for 4 to become available...
Have to say the first 2 seaons were the best though personally.. Won't get to into why, because it would spoil it for anyone who is still on earlier seasons.
may be a daft question but do the electrics just unplug from inside the rubber cover in the door hinge area?
May of found a replacement door but dont wanna buy it to then be un-able to fit it
cheers
So my question's is how are you coping with the current fuel costs.
Are you having to think about what mileage am i doing because of costs?
Will I be looking to change my car because of costs?
Will I be attending so my car shows and events because of cost's
Second but not any less of a issue.
If I am driving and I damage my car through pot holes should I be able to claim?
Have you claimed and if so how did you get on?
Would appreciate any advice. I have a 2003 IS200 and want to install a new amp (FLI - 2 channel- FL450s-F1), new 6x9s (Pioneers, 4-way) and a 12 inch MacAudio sub. Spoke to audio installer and he refused to touch it saying he had problems with an IS200 before when the manufacturers amp blew after a similar installation. Is it best to by-pass the exisiting system?, or can everything be connected? Would be grateful for any advice!
