Welcome theaussie!

Welcome to theaussie!
I met Peter by playing GT5 with him, and he is amazing at drifting on there, so I added him on facebook, he seemed legitimate, and I referred him here.
He has an S13 with an sr20 engine with an rb20 turbo on it. I've seen pics and he has built it all himself, looks very nice car.
So welcome to the aussie, our first australian member I believe?

Generic Push Start Button & Proximity Entrance
by Rabster, 17-12-2018, 06:17 PM
OK well this is following on from the group buy here

As discussed a lot of you would like to see this system in the flesh and know how easy it is to install, so i went ahead and got 2 kits, to be experimented on 2 different types of set ups

So here is the good news

they are here in my flat ready to rock and roll

If i get a chance this weekend i will get the push start part of the system installed so you can all see that running the proximity bit needs a bit of research as i have an after market alarm.

If i can however Fit this into mine then all those with After market alarms on any vehicle will be able to do the same.

I will do a full write up and picture install thread on this kit once it has been evaluated.

by FirebirdPhil, 17-12-2018, 10:15 AM
An interesting clear coat from the new boys (in the UK) Infiniti, a paint that has a heat activated clear coat that actually self heals!!!

Useless info
by Lexusboy, 17-12-2018, 09:11 AM
Guys I work for Ford and we deal with sending many vehicle's out on climate tests as well as many other things.
But do you know the Hottest and coldest recorded tempatures around the World?

SO THE HOTTEST
Apparently the hottest temperature ever measured took place in El Azizia, Libya on 13 September 1922. The temperature reached 58 C (136 F). The USA national weather service recorded 56.7 C (134 F) in Death Valley, California, on 10 July 1913. This is likely the second hottest temperature ever recorded on earth.

Now for the Coldest
The temperature in Vostok, Antarctica, dropped to nearly -89.2 C, the lowest temperature ever recorded on Earth." However, other sources claim the temperature was anywhere between -89.2 C and -91 C

Mazda Cosmo...
by toxo, 15-12-2018, 07:13 AM
Found this on eBay:

http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?V...0730042392

Anyone ever seen one?! Apparently they did a triple rotor variant as standard (making it 2.0 rather than the usual 1.3 for the 13B-RE engine) with the twin turbo system. Single MPG figures anyone?
