Braces

Anyone ever had braces with molar bands fitted? As I am getting braces tomorrow (absolutely pooping it, as i hate dentists so so much), And been reading about when you have little blue elastic rings called separators, you may need a molar band, what is a molar band? And what is getting a brace fitted like? Does it hurt whilst installing? How long do they take to install? Sorry guys, I hate dentists so much would rather not have it done to be honest.

So...here are the specs of the cars as they are now. The DC5 and Corolla are pretty much on-going projects, we just do a bit at a time with each one really.

The RX7 is completely new to us, she is arriving end of this month. This is the spec it has at the mo but there is ALOT more to be done, i wont disclose the future mods & changes as this is gonna be kept as a bit of a surprise :thumbup: :wink:

Got this from Edeath on here and over the moon with it, JVC AVX810.

Got an 80gb external HD plugged in which works a treat, bluetooth module hooked up and streaming music no problem and even the reversing camera is working a treat

Had an all singing and dancing Chinese unit in before and whilst it did more than this JVC the big thing is the improvement in sound quality, night and day :ohmy:

Also managed to cut up an old stereo surround to fit the unit.

Hello Outlaws

My name is Charlotte, known as Charlie, and my OH is Chris. We have 3 Jap cars. A DC5, a Corolla WRC Edition and a RX7. Based in South Gloucestershire.

The RX7 is new to me, bought her off a friend and she will be arriving end of this month. Needs a rebuild so will be a while before she's on the road. Looking to have her as more of a show car but she will see the track occasionally to :wink: Being rebuilt by Hayward Rotaries with a single turbo conversion giving us, hopefully, around 450bhp.

The DC5 is pure track, although its not been out this year due to Chris doing more mods etc....will be out in al her glory at Japfest 2011 tho. Its running 260bhp with plans for TBs in the near future :wink:

The Corolla is a WRC Edition, track and everyday use. It was a GS model but is now a G6R. We bought a red G6R which was pranged and basically robbed it for bits for the white one :wink: Red one is off to the scrappy this eve to make way for my new baby :thumbup1: The Corolla is running a standard 4AFE at the mo, dyno'd at 109bhp, which was cool considering its over 10years old and this is what the book says they should have! This engine is soon to be swapped for a 20V Blacktop tho taking her to about 180bhp with a few other little mods.

So thats us and the cars. Look forward to chatting and maybe catching up at some shows :thumbup1:

I need some advice. I currently have a blackberry 8520 on vodafone and have 12 months left (24month contract) however the more I see some one with an i phone the more I want one. If I cancel my contract now ill owe vodafone £225 eek!!!

Is it worth upgrading early and joining the sheep generation or hang on. I would obviously sell my 8520 and my 32GB i Pod Touch to cover the early charges but is it worth doing?
