Cheating question - Football
by FirebirdPhil, 21-01-2018, 08:44 AM
OK I am not a fan of the game - it is as fixed as F1 and last night went some way to show it for what it is, so just a couple of questions:

Why does football allow offside goals to stand?
Why is there not a facility for a video ref - like all other main stream sports, Rugby, F1, Tennis etc?
Surly this is cheating claiming a goal that was against the rules?

AV lead.
by Andy-R., 20-01-2018, 01:30 PM
Does anyone know where to get obscure AV leads from? i've lost one of the leads for my twin screen DVD player for the car and can't find a replacement anywhere, it's a 9 pin din type lead male @ both ends, I did find an RCA adaptor for it for the AV part but it's no good as the lead also powers the screen, i've tried ebay obviously and searched google but can't find anything 9 pin, any ideas.

Cheers:biggrin:

New network plan
by parthiban, 20-01-2018, 12:05 PM
OK so I've changed my plans a bit as to what to do with my router and modem - thinking about getting Virgin to come in and move the cable connection and modem into the cupboard on the landing, and have some sort of network switcher there, which I could then run cables to wall sockets around the house whenever it becomes possible. Few questions though:

1. Is this as simple to implement as it seems in my head?
2. What sort of switcher and stuff will I need for this, and where can I get it?
3. Can I still keep my wireless router and will that simply plug into one of the ports on the switcher?

My UK 98 turbo 2000 wagon
by hostagekilla, 20-01-2018, 10:35 AM
Just a few of my bus and a couple of bits I've done to it:tongue_smilie:
At JAE last year
[Image: Photo165.jpg]
The old girl looks well after a wash n polish lol.
The car was pretty much standard then apart from the pipe n wheels. Since then I've added a few little bits n pieces. Like a gauge or four.
Some new headlights.
Bonnet induction vent.
Dump valve.
handsfree.
Tints.
Plenty of sub bass.
And my personal favourite, a BEE*R rev limiter for pops bangs and flames:thumbup1:
And thats about it, for now:tongue_smilie:
Sorry for the picture overdose lol.
