After searching the web for someone that had parts for my is200, as parts in norway is insanely expensive, I found this shop, and they seem to have a lot of what I'm looking for. Just want to check in with you if anyone maybe had some good/bad experiences with them.

So, finally I'm gonna start and present my project here in OJC.
It's a GGP 99 IS200, it has what was called here in Portugal the Sport Pack II, as far as I can tell it has pretty much everything a UK Sport has except sunroof and LSD.
Currently, look wise it's pretty much stock but I have ordered a couple things to make it a bit more exciting. We'll get to that in a moment, but first lets check a few pictures of my second girlfriend.

Awww.. doesn't it look amazing? That is one sexy *****!!
Now, what have I done to it and what did I order so far..
First of all, I did all the oils and filters, timing belt and tensioners, all the must have maintenance of when you buy a used car.
Then, I got some low intensity less for the license plate, I wanted the OEM look and its pretty much there (could be better, but will do for now).
-> I'll post a pic of this here today
At the same time, I got some yellow fog bulbs. I didn't quite like the look of them, I wanted an yellower light and I still have to take my time to search the best one (and advice is welcome!)
-> Yep, pic of this too today
Then I found OJC, I found the for sale sub-forum and to my personal huge satisfaction, I found Patricks cradle thread... Yeah I ordered that sweet supercharger nest right away.. It'll find a home in Portugal soon!
Since ordering I've been looking for M62 superchargers and the other bits to supercharge on my baby, I hope to get it done by the end of summer.
Meanwhile, the tires that came on the car were getting a bit on the bald side, so some new shoes for her. We all know how girls like shoes.
Hankook Ventus V12 Evo2. Not the best tires in the world, but pretty awesome fr the price. I didn't buy anything more expensive because I'll eventually change to 18" wheels so it didn't justify. Also these are more then enough for 99% of my driving as we here in Portugal can rarely hit the track..

![[Image: IMG_2384.jpg]](http://i1156.photobucket.com/albums/p578/diogobpiedade/IMG_2384.jpg)
Also ordered (I'll pick them up this Monday from the post office) were a set of Ebay 2.5" Mini-Bixenon HID projectors, recommended by a user from OJC. Can't wait to install them along with a 5000K HID kit (still have to order that!)
-> Pic of the projectors here tomorrow!
Finally, the last thing I have done to it so far is the exhaust. I've removed the rear silencer. Honestly, I like the sound. It's a bit lacking on higher RPM's but overall it sounds just nice.
I'll put up a clip of it asap, I really have to buy a suction cup mount for the gopro!..
For the future, my plans are really simple and not particularly in this order.
- Painting stock wheels black or anthracite (so I can hold for new ones for a bit longer)
- 18" Wheels, no idea which, I like a lot of them. Currently loving SSR Type C's
- TRD bodykit
- Eibach Springs + Koni Yellow Sports
- Eibach/TRD/Hotchkiss Sway bar kit
- Painting those calipers gloss black with lexus decals
- Carbon Side view Mirror covers (saw some on eBay, love 'em)
- Shortned antenna from IQ or S2000
- Exhaust manifold (secondary decat)
Then eventually, if all goes well, the coup de gras, a 1JZ-GTE coupled to an R154 (or better if $$ allows)
Hope you guys liked it, I'll keep posting updates here and I'll get the photos that are missing posted today!
Nürburgring, GERMANY (May 27, 2016) -- The new 2017 Nissan GT-R NISMO made its debut today at the famous Nürburgring race course, known as the one of the longest and most challenging race tracks in the world. This is also the place where the Nissan GT-R’s potent performance was honed, tuned and developed. Like the standard model, the GT-R NISMO’s front end features a freshened face that’s highlighted by a new bumper. And to help cool the car’s high-output engine, the dark chrome V-motion grille has been enlarged to collect more air, without diminishing the car’s aerodynamic performance. A new significantly reinforced hood avoids deformation at extremely high speeds, allowing it to keep its aerodynamic shape at all times. But unlike the standard model, the front bumpers of the GT-R NISMO are made of carbon fiber, crafted with TAKUMI-like precision where layers of carbon-fiber sheets are carefully overlapped to achieve the ideal amount of stiffness. The canards have been designed to improve airflow around the vehicle and generate a high level of downforce, while at the same time, direct air around the wheelhouse to improve the aerodynamics. Overall, the car’s new shape generates more downforce than any other Nissan production car to date, which in turn results in exceptional high-speed stability. The new GT-R NISMO is also the benefactor of the 2017 GT-R’s refreshed interior, whose cabin possesses a more upscale feel than ever before. The redesigned dashboard, steering wheel and center armrest are covered with high-quality Alcantara® leather. The center dash layout has been improved and simplified via integrated navigation and audio controls (reducing the number of switches from 27 in the previous model to only 11) and an enlarged 8-inch touch-panel monitor that features large icons on the display screen make it simple to use. A new Display command control on the carbon-fiber center console allows easy operation without having to touch the monitor; a feature that comes in handy when traveling at high speed. Unique to the GT-R NISMO are the leather-appointed Recaro® carbon bucket seats with red Alcantara inserts. The performance of the all-wheel-drive GT-R NISMO has also been upgraded, thanks in part to the standard model’s significantly reinforced body. The stiffened body structure allowed the engineers to further refine of the GT-R NISMO’s shock absorbers, springs and stabilizers, all of which, when combined with the car’s added downforce, result in a better handling car than the previous model. This is evidenced by the car’s improved slalom times and superior cornering performance (both up by nearly 2 percent from the past model). The GT-R’s special Bilstein® DampTronic driver-adjustable system—which utilizes multiple vehicle information systems to provide appropriate damping forces and high level of control for a variety of driving situations—features a special NISMO-tuned shock absorber that more effectively transfers the power of twin-turbocharged 3.8-liter V6, which still produces a remarkable 441kW (600PS) , to the road surface.Dubbed the “VR38DETT,” the GT-R NISMO’s engine is the result of the expertise that NISMO has gained from participating in motorsports events around the globe. Mated to a 6-speed dual-clutch gearbox, it features a pair of high-flow, large diameter turbochargers used in GT3 competition. As with the standard model, each GT-R NISMO engine is hand-assembled from beginning to end in a special clean room by meticulously trained technicians, with an aluminum plate added to the front of each engine showing the name of the TAKUMI engine craftsman.Despite its more potent nature, the new GT-R NISMO boasts better overall balance than before, evolving into a car that can be enjoyed on a winding mountain road as on the local race circuit.“The GT-R NISMO emphasizes the ‘R’ in its nomenclature. Its direct ties with racing makes it at home on any racetrack, providing the highest levels of excitement and exhilaration for the driver. With the 2017 GT-R as a starting point, the new NISMO version has become a more well-balanced machine, with not just increased performance, but a heightened premium feel overall. It is the result of our relentless pursuit of ultimate driving pleasure,” said Hiroshi Tamura, the Chief Product Specialist of the GT-R NISMO and the standard GT-R.The 2017 Nissan GT-R NISMO is available in five different exterior colors. It is assembled in Tochigi, Japan, with the engines hand-assembled in Yokohama, Japan.About NISMO NISMO, a short form of "NISsan MOtorsports," is the performance brand for Nissan, and is one of the company's purveyors of "innovation that excites." NISMO offers products featuring innovative technology and high performance to a wide range of customers for street use. YOKOHAMA, Japan (May 26 2016) – European Council President Donald Tusk had a front-seat view to Nissan’s ProPilot autonomous drive technology on Thursday at the G7 summit in Ise-shima, Japan. The EC President’s car was among a cavalcade of Group of Seven next-generation vehicles. The Nissan autonomous drive road session was one of a number of events planned during the Japan-hosted G7 Summit on May 26 and 27. The prototype vehicle, based on the Nissan LEAF, a 100% electric vehicle, was equipped with special features such as a millimeter wave radar, laser scanners, cameras, and a specialized HMI (Human Machine Interface) to support autonomous driving. The G7 Summit autonomous vehicle demonstration allowed President Tusk to experience how ProPilot technology could navigate roads, incorporating two innovative functionalities. The first, aminiature, high-spec laser scanner that determines the distance between the vehicle and its surroundings through precise three-dimensional measurements enabling navigation in tight spaces. The second is an eight-way, 360-degree view camera system for accurate routing decisions at intersections and on sharp curving roads. The technologies were tested on roads and highways in Japan and the United States earlier this year.Nissan will introduce the ProPilot autonomous drive technology in a model in Japan later this year, and then expand availability to Europe, United States and China. ProPilot 1.0 can be used in congested highway traffic conditions.By 2018, the company plans to implement a multiple-lane, ProPilot autonomous drive technology that allows highway lane change, while by 2020, the new technology will facilitate driving on urban roads, including intersections.###

Nissan Europe's in-house Stig unmasked for the first timeTop in-house test driver ensures performance quality on every new vehicle for local marketsLatest project is developing Nissan's Autonomous Drive technology for release in 2017ROLLE, Switzerland – Some say he eats a whole Versa Note for breakfast. Some say his bed is a GT-R chassis, and he sleeps sideways. All we know is he's called Paul Eames, and he is Nissan's very own tame racing driver. As car fans around the world prepare for the eagerly anticipated new series of hit BBC TV show Top Gear, Nissan has removed the helmet of its top European test driver for the first time to reveal his identity.Paul plays a key role in the team charged with making sure every new vehicle Nissan develops is dynamically the best it can be for EU roads. As one of only four expert drivers outside Japan who's earned Nissan's ultimate driving qualification, Paul completes countless laps of the company's various test tracks around the world. With 20 years of experience at Nissan, Paul knows instinctively if a new car's chassis is optimized for the best balance between performance and passenger comfort. While he undoubtedly has super-human skills behind the wheel, he also has a talent for putting himself in the mind of the customer."With the new GT-R, which goes on sale this summer, the objective was to make it as exciting, grippy and stable as possible when being driven to extremes, because that's what a GT-R owner wants," said Eames.Right mouse click on a PC, or option-click on a Mac, to download this cinemagraph. But the rules are very different when developing best-selling models such as the Nissan JUKE or European Qashqai crossovers."These cars need to be as agile, stable and safe as possible, but at the same time deliver comfort and suppleness for the people who will buy them," said Eames, who began his automotive career in the mid-eighties as a technician.Paul's job isn't just about shaving tenths of a second off lap times – although he's very good at that. It's more about replicating how Nissan customers will actually drive their cars in the real world."I drive at different speeds, in different positions on the road, up and down curbs, across rutted tracks, on motorways and in heavy stop/start congestion," said Eames. "For Nissan, it's all about the quality of the driving experience. Only then can I really evaluate the true dynamic performance of a car and make sure it's right for the customer."Paul's job is a massively complex one because Nissan develops cars for markets all across the world, and road surfaces vary in terms of construction, camber and quality of surface. What works dynamically in one country might not work in another. As a result, he travels around the world from cold-weather testing near the Arctic Circle to hot-weather testing in Spain. He is currently working closely with Nissan's Autonomous Drive engineers, refining the technology. Nissan is already establishing itself as a global leader in the emerging technology, with ProPilot (single-lane autonomous driving) set to debut on the Nissan Qashqai next year."Autonomous Drive is about giving the driver more control – about keeping the enjoyable elements of driving and taking away some of the less enjoyable parts, as well as enhancing customer safety," said Eames. "This technology is hugely exciting for me and the Nissan Europe engineering team, as we're at the cutting edge of huge change in the automotive industry." About Nissan in Europe Nissan has one of the most comprehensive European presences of any overseas manufacturer, employing more than 14,500 staff across locally based design, research & development, manufacturing, logistics and sales & marketing operations. Last year Nissan plants in the UK, Spain and Russia produced more than 635,000 vehicles including mini-MPVs, award-winning crossovers, SUVs, commercial vehicles and the Nissan LEAF, the world's most popular Electric Vehicle with 97% performance satisfaction and 95% of customers willing to recommend the car to friends. Nissan now offers 24 diverse and innovative products for sale in Europe today, and is positioned to become the number one Asian brand in Europe. # # # ContactTom Barnard Product Communications [email protected] +447890 028342

Ordóñez and Krumm will be joined next weekend by Japanese Super GT racer Kazuki Hoshino and British Blancpain Endurance Series champion Alex Buncombe aboard the No.35 Nissan GT-R NISMO GT3 entry for Nissan GT Academy Team RJN.The factory entry will be joined by three-time race winners Zakspeed who will race the No.48 GT-R with GT Academy winners Florian Strauss and Marc Gassner plus Dutch veteran Tom Coronel.A fourth GT Academy winner, Frenchman Jordan Tresson, will drive in the Schulze Motorsports GT-R in the SP 8T classThis weekend's Nürburgring assault follows the launch of the new Gran Turismo GT Sport PlayStation game in London last week. Ordóñez was on hand for the launch to get some early "virutal" laps in preparation for this weekend's race."When I first drove at the Nürburgring, I did a lot of miles in preparation on the PlayStation to prepare and it remains a very beneficial tool," Ordóñez said. "This is the most challenging, most exciting and toughest race in the world. Last year's top 10 was an amazing result for NISMO, and I have a dream lineup of teammates again. Hopefully we can have a dream race like last year. We stayed out of trouble and were mistake free. We'll be fighting hard again and plan to get a fantastic result. In the qualifying race in April we completed a lot of miles and everybody had the chance to sample dry, damp and wet conditions. We finished 10th overall and everyone was very happy to now be locked in for the top 30 qualifying session for the Nürburgring 24 Hours."The Zakspeed GT-R entry is also locked into the 40-minute top 30 qualifying session, which will be held on Friday evening from 7:50 p.m. local time. The race will go green at 3:30 p.m. local time on Saturday afternoon, May 28.NISMO CalendarMay 28-29 Nürburgring 24 Hour, Nürburgring, Germany Pirelli World Challenge, Lime Rock Park, Connecticut, USA Micra Cup Canada, Mont Tremblant, Quebec, CanadaJune 4-5 24 Hours of Le Mans Test DayJune 12-13 24 Hours of Le Mans ScrutineeringJune 18-19 24 Hours of Le Mans Australian Supercars, Hidden Valley, Darwin, Northern Territory # # #ContactJane Johnstone Marketing Communications Director Global Motorsport Communications Nissan/NISMO Phone: +44 7979 710646 Email: [email protected] Ryan Marketing and PR Manager Phone: +1 678 644 0404 Email: [email protected]
