Dark Samurai They don't have to be true windows icons really, as long as they fit in the folder image right then it's fine?
Don't have a Windows machine handy to check but I think that the file browser defaults to files of type .ico so you might have to change that to All files or something.
if that wasn't possible then you'd have to convert the file to an ico file...
