Tinted windows on my Lexus SC430

I am not sure if i should get a lighter tint on the front side window and then either a blue or black tint on the rest.
I really don't want to worry if i am going to get stop by the men in blue.
So should i get blue or dark tint on the rear side and back screen and leave the sides front alone or go for a light blue or black light tint on the front side windows?

19-06-2017, 02:58 PM #2i went for a graduated black tint all round,think it was 70% on the front,50% on the rears and 35% on the rear screen iirc

19-06-2017, 03:08 PM #3I think you'll pretty much need to leave the fronts alone if you don't want to have to worry about a tap on the shoulder from Mr Plod. Up to you, of course.

I had the standard sport tints but then added light smoke to the front, medium to rears and dark to rear screen. i also added a front gradient tint to the front.
heres a few pics to give you an idea of how it looks. When done right, diff tints across the car look fine..

its not stupidly dark shouldnt be a prob..
however, the short answer is probably not!!
light smoke on front and medium rears would give the same effect and be legal on a car with no tint already
as only traffic police can actually check its never normally a prob! at the last meet in wolves the police looked at it and said it looks good with no comment on the tints!
