throttle jammed open?
throttle jammed open?

as I was driving home on lunch upon accelerating my pedal stuck firmly to the floor thus making the engine bounce off the red-line, I managed to get it unstuck by squeezing my foot under the pedal and forcing it back to a normal position.
Any ideas why this has happend or how to resolve? Also anyone had similar problems before?
