Anyone @ Lexus/Toyota able to dig up some history?

I'm not sure how this works, (or if its possible) but if I were to give someone at Lex/Toy the reg no of a car I'm interested in, would they be able to check out its service history?

I'm looking at a car with rather high mileage and the dealer has no idea if cambelt has been done! No stickers in engine bay and no mention on service stamps.

TBH it sounds like a it of a duffer, but at the price they are selling I've got a couple of grand buffer to get some maintenance done.

Hi ,

Just joined up & thought I'd say hello.

Name's Steve and I'm based in Romford, Essex.

Been a biker since I was 17 and ride a Yamaha FZR1000 but last year bought my 1st Skyline. It's a 1996 R33 GTST series 2 and it's as good as I always imagined it would be. Just finnish the stage 1 tuning mods and both machines still have the ability to scare the **** outta me even though they're old girls now !!:laugh:

Serps

Hi guys, about 20 years ago i remember signing either into or out of Serps!
(was 20 years ago so forgive my aling mind)

About a week or so ago i found a link to a website re: miss sold serps, and the possabilaty of a claim and a refund!

Anybody on here heard of such a plan to reclaim moneys back from miss sold serps or have gone through such a company to make a claim?

Any advice welcome.

From sept this year, Prison for any motorist exceeding the speed limit by 31MPH.
Motorcyclist to wear Hi-Viz jackets.
Total ban on speed camera detectors/GPS based warning devices, like TomTom etc.
Speed camera warning signs to be removed.

Be warned as they are really strict now at adhering these enforcements

finally ive managed to get on the computer so heres a few photos of my mr2 in progress

then i got a carbon fibre spoiler and the wheel mania monaco alloys

Hey guys, great looking forum i was pointed here by Sparkystav and Jomo

Here is my car when i bought it 3 weeks ago, i will add my mods in a seperate thread.

Just purchased my first Lexus, its a IS200 SE in Royal Sapphire with Cream Interior. Has a few extras on like parking sensors and Remus exhaust system.
Not the first Jap car ive owned as I had an EP3 Type-R for 3 years and it was very reliable.

Anyne know when / if they will be compulsory ? a guy few houses away from me got them fitted to his 08 Mondeo, aftermarket non OEM i think, fitted just under the bumper, he told me they going to be compulsory in UK cant remember what date/year he said it will be! however i also been told they were compulsory in certain european countries but not anymore???
